Phil telling people to forgo Superchats in lieu of tips because 'that helps me in a month and a half, I need help NOW!', is pretty much the best look into his way of thinking and behaving when it comes to his financial situation and why he's never going to have any actual 'success' or ability to do anything that doesn't involve a lot of sad and shameless begging.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Phil has the future time orientation of a Golden Retriever. Forever living in the NOW, unable to conceptualize what will happen months or years from now.

Phil also seems incapable of understanding that it’s a finite amount of money his wheelchairs and whales have.

If they use tips more, they’ll use Superchats less and vice versa.

Less superchats will of course mean increased begging in a month, but Phil is unable to comprehend this. Or just so used to begging working that it’s his fall back in any situation.

So, awhile back I heard Phil was avoiding RPGs was that just for his bs viewers choice? Because we all know Phil believes playing the newest AAA games is the reason people watch streamers; I was wondering would he eventually wage quit Hades to play Tales of Arise or is he skipping it?

he wage quit playing "multiple rpgs at the same time", or "too many back to back", everyone gets bored cause he wants to face tank every enemy and when it doesn't work-his commentary is nothing new

and he always has random rpgs lined up to play in the future, so they would always eventually overlap

he started playing them on the 2hr streams once a week, so it was taking him 8 months to finish a 60hr-100hr game, they were exiled to this time slot because they were no longer raking in money

sometimes he would even postpone the rpg playthroughs to make room for other games, so he would end up playing it for 2hrs every other week, then complain about how long it took to finish the game, then he gets mad at his viewers for picking the game and not "supporting" the game they picked, or he'd be legitimately confused as to why people were "supporting" the playthrough in the beginning, and then "the support dried up for some reason"

it was a combination of just low views in general for the late stream as usual, low tips-which is also a regular occurance on the late streams, the amount of time to finish cause of his own terrible scheduling, and how he walks around like a snail ..goat laughing at toilets and pot plants, then he has to be hand held, so he sits there waiting for advice every 2 minutes or every upgrade or every quest, then he would recap every cut scene or go on long non-game-related-rants about random shit

While it is sad piggy is treated with kid's gloves from 'da tractors' we can always look to the silver lining that it gives him less to whine to his wheelchairs about for more of their disability checks.

Although if I lived in Washington, I'd defiantly head to Renton just once on his day off and find him at the mall to simply ask 'Are you that guy?'

If you're sad that trolls take it easy on DSP then you are implying you wish they were more effective in their malicious efforts. Don't, DSP doesn't need legitimate things to victimize himself over. He's lost relevancy substantially since he left YouTube because he became more boring and content creators wandered off. This hurt him more than any troll could and has lead to years of begging/boomer rants. If you wish ill for him then rest assured, the most effective person for the job is assigned to the case of giving DSP what he deserves, DSP himself.

Second, why? Why are you gay? You don't interact or wish harm upon the cows you just watch them ruin their own life and pop in to laugh from time to time. If they get you too riled up, as happens to all of us on occasion, you take a break. Maybe follow another of the hundreds of cows here.

Lastly, what you posted says effectively that you're upset the trolls aren't more punitive to him, which implies you want him to be tortured by some autistic kid plotting on discord. It means but for the grace of God, that would be you. Either lacking the means or too lazy or too cowardly to be there plotting gay ops yourself.

Remember, the writers already wrote the season, you just have to enjoy the show. It's just a show. Have a laugh, have some feels, commiserate, conversate, but don't toüch the pööp.

He said he is skipping Tales of Arise because he'd rather be playing another upcoming "lengthy Japanese-style RPG game" in... Lost Judgment. How an action adventure beat-em-up is a JRPG is beyond me. Maybe it's "Japanese-style" because there's woodwind instrument players everywhere and "RPG-style" because there's a progression system where you unlock new moves and shit, but at that point you might as well call games like Sleeping Dogs "lengthy RPG-style" games too.

Seeing dsp’s “bright and early” comment made me think how much I would love if there was a tv show where Phil tried out various “real” jobs, reality show style. Kind of like Dirty Jobs mixed with Cooking with the King.

That’s an awesome idea and a show I’d watch enthusiastically whether on TV or Twitch.

Only one teensy, little problem.

(No, not showing up on time. A prerequisite for the show to work at all, is the camera crew swings by to pick up Phil at 7AM.)

Every single fucking episode with end with Phil walking out of the job site at, or little past noon, talking about how he quit because his co-workers/managers are facking dumbshits who couldn’t manage a telephone booth. Also they were making him do shit that’s against the labor laws, and HE KNOWS THOSE, because Best Buy blah blah blah.

CUT TO: Manager: “Yeah, we had to let Phil go. He got into an argument with a coworker over a screwdriver. Also, every time he was supposed to be working and I wasn’t there, it turned out that he was either talking about Youtube or on his phone. Now I’m a great believer in bringing the mentally disadvantaged into the workforce, but I’m also running a business, and can’t afford having an employee babysit him 8 hours straight!”

Normally I’d agree with you, but fuck... If DSPs and Wing’s trolls could switch places/targets for a couple of months, it would be straight up karma that would put a smile on my face.

And I’m not even part of the “I WANT TO SEE DSP HOMELESS AND PANHANDLING REEE!” Club.

Also, don’t pozload my negholep and all that, but fuck... If you come across the guy and let loose with a “ITS THE GUY!!” I could probably live with that.

I had a really obvious idea that I'm surprised paul hasn't implemented before. Clearly the polls don't work for picking games, why doesn't he do an event where viewers can pick a game from a curated list to put money towards, with the winner getting a playthrough? The reasons to do so are many.

1. Gives a better gauge of what will attract money (whales will do their thing on a game they want to see/contribute during)
2. It cuts down troll votes
3. It gives him a novel fundraising opportunity
4. Despite the paywall, it's more interactive for the stream - no reason to try to draw engagement to the dead forum at this point, after all.

Actually, because DSP would probably like an easier option, is there any good reason he hasn't made that a patreon reward? I'm seriously blanking on whether it is or not because it's just so obvious...
I don't think either of these options would look greedy, either. There would be some bitching about paywalling something he was already doing but there are justifiable enough reasons to just make it an incentive (gasp!) to tip. The only problem is, because people actually paid for it, he would then be obliged to actually finish it, and presumably put up a reasonable effort being entertaining (not falling asleep, not consulting a guide, etc). While I'm giving you advice, DSP, I'll add that you should really change your twitter handle to just @darksydephil. When I searched for your account to find where the polls were held I just got a bunch of tractor tweets mentioning your name.

To cap off my incredibly autistic post, I'll be that guy and correct the idiom: they're kid gloves, as in soft gloves made of kidskin. I always thought it meant children as well but that makes no sense in hindsight.

I dunno who “Paul” is, so I’m just going to assume you were talking about some other streamer, but took an autistically wrong turn and ended up in DSP-land.

Because surely anyone who has watched Phil for a few days realizes that he always takes the path of least resistance, and considers even minor changes a Herculean effort not worth his time.

Phil is a “man” whose “business plan” basically revolves around sitting with his digital panhandling cup and either beg, or hardcore beg.

I’ll do you a favor and give you Phil’s response to your idea so you save your 1.50$ trolltip.
