Is there even a given reason for why?

My guess is that they are going to justify it on general orderly-conduct grounds. My better guess is that the real reason is domestic violence. In my country (and probably everywhere else), domestic violence SKYROCKETED during confinement, because who could have guessed that locking people in tiny European-sized apartments, often with kids whose schools were closed, work shut down, and often in situations involving tense marriages/relationships to begin with, and then adding alcohol, would have any deleterious results at all? Who could possibly have foreseen that result?

On the article the stated reason is "health" so one could read that as preventing alcoholism. However the cynical in me suspects that it's also a way to prevent people from doing "lockdown parties" while on the inside.

Yeah, except 7.5 million people just lost their benefits & aren't exactly rushing to go back to work. Many people don't want to perform menial, degrading labor anymore & will probably be content to live in their car at this point.

There is a testing option, for now. That's what I'll do. When they take that option away, forging papers, if that goes under, quit. If they want to jab me they will have to do it to my dead fucking body.
