Well, he definitely exaggerated the 3 hour part. All the Conrad-specific stuff probably adds up to an hour of that, and it's mostly Cybershell ranting. I listened to most, but skipped around when they went off on tangents.

What makes this beautiful is that black space between earnings and patrons. Digi was making enough to get by with low-tier donors (plus ad revenue and other income) but it was the superfans who provided that extra cushion which allowed for his lavish, carefree lifestyle and constant bad decisions. Had that green line not fallen so quickly after 2020, he might have been able to regroup before getting thrown onto the street.
It was Digi (thanks to May) turning his back on his fans (ragequitting from his own Discord, deleting the rant tiers and dismissing any criticism from his fans as them being overly entitled) back in early-mid 2020 that led to a lot of the core supporters giving up their support. His earnings were already in decline shortly before then (late-2019) but they would nose-dive throughout 2020. You're right about the Ygg saga chasing away his peripheral audience (the ones that asked the same question of "who are these people?"; referring to Bird, MintSalad and Billy; the year previously they would ask "why did Digi become a woman?"). The current anime videos (the Anime Alphabet stuff) are largely lazy summaries of entire series, with maybe 5-10 minutes of pretty decent analysis throughout, like an old ember from the past still burning, if increasingly dimmer by the day.
If one thing is to be gleamed from this, it's that social isolation when combined with being an internet person can totally wreck perception of reality. Having people lick your ass 24/7, or at least over 50% of your fans doing so will inevitably lead to a shifted perception of reality. To be honest the moment I cut myself off from Digi as in, didn't watch most of his stuff anymore was when the Digi-nee saga started with him dressed in goth drag.

The mad thing now is that the likes of Ben Saint see those transsexuals, such as your classmate with Kleinfelters-Syndrome, who consider themselves properly trans by going through the correct medical procedures as "truscum"; this is the state of "trans allies" in 2021. Ten years ago nobody wanted to either know trans people or certainly did not want to be them; now it's all the rage with non-binaries and transsetters.

Everything that can be said about digis current situation has been said already, so all we can do is sit on our hands and let the thread hibernate until Digi finally does fucking something.You can be like Ben and seethe.
