To be clear, the testing option is to stick a long q-tip up to your brain weekly correct? Despite being openly stated as an ineffective testing measure, this will just be lightly torturing people until they get it. It not meant to test you but to fuckin make you uncomfortable.

I don't like it but I've already had to do it on a monthly basis so at this point it doesn't faze me. @Jump, they will make a card system like they already have for CAC cards for all gov people. Actually, they will probably incorporate it into the CAC's at first in order to test run with fed workers + contractors. then role out civi cards. If you get the vax, does it get sent to your doctor?

Government IT is a flaming shitshow.

Health care IT is not that far behind.

All databases and systems are not designed and secured the same. Even the state ones can't access the fed ones. What if you got it overseas?

There's so much situations where this could backfire, hence why paper or phone picture of paper is still the failsafe.

If you take the TEST option then you get to get tested "on the clock" so its just paid time off to travel to the test site and not work. The city is trying to say you have to get tested "off the clock" but the NYPD union is already saying if thats the case then it must be paid "overtime". You can't make people do stuff "off the clock".

Biden's order is now going to pit the government against unions. Can an executive order just undo all binding arbitration? Where in the union contracts does it say you can be strait up fired for not taking a shot? Left going after unions now?

The way I'm viewing this at this point is the pharmaceutical industry's complete victory. It's complete and total. It is the method by which the nation will be fully extracted of its wealth. What was said today, is the intention that not only will every single resident of the landmass that is the US be forcibly subscribed to a product but we will also pay for the subscriptions of vast swathes of the third world. That's the angle to me. Any harmful side effects to this slipshod trash is just incidental and will allow pharmaceuticals to reap more solving those eventual issues.

I, at this point, honestly don't even think this is primarily about asserting real authoritarian control. Otherwise they would have mandated the Vax to travel as well. This is an extra crush on the government budget that will be paid for either by tax increases or money printer. Not that they aren't working that forward as well.

I still think a lot of the non-political ones have absolutely convinced themselves that "this would all be over" if everyone just got their shots. They believe in the Fauci lie that 100% vaccination rates mean zero COVID.

The fact that we have more COVID cases now (allegedly) than we did when no vaccine existed never occurs to them. COVID lives in the unvaxxinated and will continue to spread until there is none of them left. If the unvaxxed didn't exist, the vaxxed wouldn't get sick. The fact that this makes no fucking sense doesn't occur to them either because they believe it or it has been beaten into them.
