Virginia hospital turning away American citizens in favor of Afghan refugees, WaPo reports

American citizens have reportedly been turned away from at least one hospital in Northern Virginia so newly arrived refugees from Afghanistan could be treated instead, according to officials.

“A hospital near the Dulles Expo Center that federal officials designated as a go-to spot for medical treatment began running out of available beds, forcing the hospital to turn away non-Afghan patients who weren’t in need of critical care,” The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.
The paper went on to report that the “mass arrival” of refugees from the war-torn country included “many” who were “in need of medical care,” which “wreaked havoc on Northern Virginia’s hospital system.” The influx resulted in “a regional emergency response group” taking charge of the situation “after one hospital became overwhelmed with patients and federal officials lost track of where some Afghans were hospitalized,” the Post reported, citing various officials.

Officials in Northern Virginia have requested that the Biden administration foot the bill for ever-increasing costs associated with monitoring and tracking Afghan refugees who have been hospitalized and for transporting them to and from the Dulles Expo Center, where they are temporarily housed. The request came after a federal contractor “took hours to retrieve some of the evacuees who were ready to be discharged,” the Post reported.

Kristin Nickerson, executive director of the Northern Virginia Emergency Response System, said that federal officials also lost track of a one-month-old infant suffering from an undisclosed life-threatening illness. Eventually, the baby was found — still in a hospital — via a patient-tracking system her organization put in place, she told the Post.

“Our hospitals are already almost at capacity,” Nickerson, who is also in charge of the Northern Virginia Hospital Alliance, said in reference to turning away American citizens. “It’s not like they have tons of free beds available. We are still in the middle of a pandemic.”
She did not name the hospital. (Someone will. Then they should sue. - JS)

Nickerson went on to lament the overall treatment of the Afghan refugees, whom she said also endured many hardships on their journey to the U.S. including being victimized by Taliban fighters.

“This was terrible for the refugees who have already traveled for days, who have been awake for days, who have children who, often, haven’t eaten in days,” she told the Post. (Maybe the men should have FOUGHT the Taliban instead of running away. - JS)

The paper noted that Afghan refugees continue to arrive at the Dulles Expo Center, where they usually stay for 24-48 hours before being moved to U.S. military facilities in the region and across the country. The paper added that the cost of taking care of the refugees is also continuing to rise, with the burden being placed on U.S. and Virginia taxpayers.(Of course! - JS)

To defray some of the costs locally, officials appealed to Daniel Carey, Virginia’s secretary of Health and Human Resources, in an Aug. 28 letter for state and federal tax dollars to be utilized to care for the influx of refugees.

“To meet the current need, we are leveraging what little resources we have to augment the existing team at the moment, but this is not sustainable with only a staff of 12,” the letter noted, according to the Post.

J. Stephen Jones, chief executive of the Inova Health System, told the paper that the impact the Afghan refugees are having on Northern Virginia hospitals won’t abate anytime soon because they will continue to arrive from way stations overseas. (Put them on military bases. - JS)

“These are real human beings and taking care of people is complex,” Jones said. “These folks have had their lives disrupted, and everything we can do to coordinate that care will be in their interest and in our community’s best interest.” (Tough shit. Americans first. - JS)

Meanwhile there are Americans still trapped in Afghanistan under the Taliban, and the Biden Administration straight up told these Americans that if they wanted a flight to be rescued, then they would be expected to pay back the flight costs to the government in the future. I don't even know how to feel about my country anymore when we're blatantly putting immigrants and sandniggers first before our own goddamn people. Nothing is ever fucking enough.

They make a plane ride from the other side of the world sound like the miserable experience that it really is.

I don't understand the hard-on people have for refugees. I've seen charities and NGOs that work exclusively with them. International Rescue Committee comes to mind. They go so far as to lease apartments for them to live in and arrange jobs for them through contractors. Those are apartments local people could live in and jobs local people could have. They're all grum job too, like housekeeping and churning dookie butter. They're still jobs citizens could work, but citizens aren't good anymore. It's like they're trying to make a new permanent underclass.

If anything could be learned from refugees in Europe, they those Middle Eastern guys don't settle for anything -they want it all and they'll take it all. The really vexing thing about it is how nobody cares about citizens. If you go to any big city you see street after street of tent towns. Nobody even tries to help those people. I know some of those people are a lost cause, but we have our own impoverished who at least try. And along comes NGOs like IRC looking to swallow some hot Afgan cum. It's like they look at brown people and think of them as pets they have to adopt from the SPCA -it's so fucking weird.

I know exactly what to feel

If you dont feel like current society is a circus, then you either didnt notice the red nose, face paint and wig on your head or you are one of the elite laughing on the audience stand.

Modern society is a fucking circus and we are all the punch line.

Oh wonderful, more stupid bullshit from Northam.

When is the southern part of Virginia going to secede from NoVA? It's looking like the DC boys are too busy giving into woke shit to benefit the rest of the state.
West Virginia already offered those counties a home. What the hell are they waiting for? NoVA fags already made it clear there's no room for them in their New Virginia.
Implying that they're importing a bloc out of ignorance and not knowing full well what they're doing.

They are. Can't convince me otherwise at this point. There is just so much money floating around for things like refugees, "migrants", and the homelesss, and so little of it gets to the people themselves, that I can't help but think that this is just some kind of weird cattle rustling.

As nice as it would be, more than half of the GDP from the state comes from NoVA. Perhaps if someone competent came into power they could arrange jobs being put back into VA and earn enough to separate from the northern part, but as far as Northam goes, he doesn't do anything for it lower than the Rappahannock line.

In a sane society this would cause the collapse of a government but unfortunately in the mdoern west we are apathtic to our own while sucking the cock of shitskins (Or at least that's what they want us to do). Slowly I'm beginning to wonder if the great fedpost of ourtime will inevitably occur the more blatant the governments of the west show how little they view their own citizens.

It's because wanting to care for your own homeless population makes you racist and sexist or some shit now. No instead of battling poverty at home we must make it worse by causing more competition for jobs and housing via importation of third worlders thanks to NGOs and apathetic political traitors who see no wrongs with the idea. The whole system exists to create a permanent underclass subservient to TPTB, why do you think they are shilling more and more for pod housing and bug eating amid rising costs of living THEY helped create. People in charge only view us peasants as statistics and a dollar sign, and that won't change until something changes and people stop thinking voting for a different guy matters, as if one honest politician will change the course of the nation and the world without said politician themselves taking onto themselves supreme authorities no man should hold.

The big problem is that people don't believe a revolution is possible, and it is not possible precisely because they do not believe it is possible. - Uncle Ted
