Lolcow Melinda Leigh Scott & Marshall Castersen - Sue-happy couple. Flat earth conspiracists. Pretending to be Jewish. Believe Kiwi Farms is protected by the Masonic Order. 0-6 on lawsuits. Marshall is dead.

Right, but she believes she has a case, and that the judge was incorrect. As much as she has a better grasp on reality than Pam, she tends to believe she is almost always correct
Hmm, I know there is a word for someone who thinks very highly of themselves, ignores criticism, refuses to ever believe they are wrong, and generally rages at others to soothe their own ego... What could that word be? 🤔

Perhaps someone with ☝️ emojis could help?

@super thug a retarded brood sow and her money are soon parted.

You know, if she could just for one second know when to fucking stop. But no, she knows better than anyone else, and now she’s going to get fucked hard with no Vaseline because she can’t keep her god damned mouth shut.

Every time I think we’ve seen peak moron from Melinda, she comes back and does something even more stupid.

Melinda, you’re about to get handed the loss that ends your lolsuit campaign against Josh. Because of this, you won’t be getting your appeal, nor will any other suit against him in the future end up proceeding past the filing stage.

It's not even about keeping her mouth shut. The forum is free an open for anybody. She can come here any time she wants and tell us how much she hates us all she wants. Those with Person of Interest badge are unlikely to get banned even if they break the rules so she has more leeway than anybody else.
The real problem is, she's looking for validation outside the forum and will most likely get herself in trouble because of it.

I think you missed Melinda explaining her ideas for lubrication. It was rather horrifying.

Null needs that money to support his growing family of pigeons. Jeffery Eggstein needs braces and their dental plan won't cover it.
I once had baby pigeons. From this experience I can tell that what he needs the most is to hire someone who'll clean the shit from under them when they are already big but not yet flying.

How do you estimate chances of it being granted? Nick was rather pessimistic despite concerns expressed in the documents were valid.
Put yourself in the judges position. Harding is asking him to deny a litegent so poor she was granted IFP their right to appeal a court decision. If the judge grants it, he's responsible for denying a woman her rights (whether or not the law says he's allowed to, and whether or not you think it's fair or justified). If the judge doesn't grant it, Hardings client get's stuck with a bill.

Right or wrong, it may come down to simply it being the path of least resistance for the judge to not grant it.

I wouldn't even ask if it was a generic lawsuit. I'm asking because in this case the woman in question misused her rights numerous times and the judge can expect it will keep happening because she'll keep using loopholes until it becomes costly for her (so either bond or sanctions).

I'm optimistic. The judge clearly understands that Mel likes to file frivolous motions, and he made that clear in his final order. Mel also pissed him off somewhat. So, yeah, I'm somewhat optimistic.

The absolute funniest thing in the world would be if she gets a judgement against her for fees. I swear to god I would laugh myself unconscious. Maybe Ethan Ralph can show up outside her front door with a camera and shout "KILLSTREAM" and beg for an interview about the great internet bully Josh Moon while a debt collector seizes her car in the background.

I won't say I think it will be approved just yet, but Harding has established pretty well that Melinda's intent is not to seek justice for herself, but to punish Josh which isn't how civil court works. She's skated by for so long racking up bills for the court and for the defendant she's been harassing for years, there's solid basis to approve. She may have a right to her day in court, but she doesn't have the right to abuse the court system which is extremely apparent that's what she's been doing this whole time.

That judge is semi-retired now, do we know if he's even going to handle it?
As long as no new judge is assigned to her case, he should handle it, I think

Edit: the motion was referred to the Magistrate Judge (that was in charge of this case since the begining) for now
