Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Officially, these remarks were made about the Abortion issue. They are so universally applicable though that they'd appear to be her floating opposition to Biden's vaccine proposal.

So less "Throwing him under the bus" and more "making her look appealing to whoever wins the cabal war".

What is the point of that? Does that honestly matter now after Biden told us that our freedoms are bullcrap? As far as I'm concerned, the longer she doesn't say she had nothing to do with this naked power grab, the less convincing it will be to believe her even if she really was opposed to it.

They can 5-4 anything they want.

Kamala, for the many things I dislike her for, is a political animal. She's doing the smart thing and sitting down and shutting up. She's not trying to sell herself to the public, the public will largely ignore and even 'forgive' her so long as they don't have a good reason to point the blame on her. This is separate from her innate unlikability,

So, she's attempting to appeal to the factions of the Cabal. One of them is likely to win, she needs to be liked by all three to have a chance of coming out on top.

Fauci is always going to ask for the next step forward. Trump's biggest failure with Covid was not realizing the man was a snake in the grass. He will always advocate for the next step in line, regardless of how extreme the last step was.
