Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The problem is that nobody comes in here to disagree seriously. They either go the HHH route of having an ego the size of a planet and a brain the size of a pea, strutting around like they are hot shit and like only they have a brain.

Or you get the Nugget route of "blatantly trolling, look how stupid you are for engaging me".

There is a rather notable lack of serious people disagreeing.
I can never settle on if that’s an indightment of how badly a lot of leftists’ minds have decayed or if this is just the wrong place to find thoughtful ones. I know the latter probably isn’t it just because my political trajectory is broadly the same burned and betrayed former liberal Null. Was all that live and let live shit always a lie or did it become one over time? I’m just so goddamn tired at this point.

Louisiana finally rises up.

Quite literally half the country telling the president to go fuck himself. You love to see it.
Meanwhile, in my state:
“How many people need to get sick and die because people don’t get this miraculous vaccine?” Governor Roy Cooper said. “How many people need to witness the cruel death of a loved one?”

He added that the vast majority of hospitalizations are happening in people who are not vaccinated. “If you’re hesitant, get off social media and get on the phone with your doctor,” he added.
*sigh* And here I thought NC was a based state....granted, he's not making us get it, he's still leaving the choice up to us, but still. Being in the Democrat Party is a hell of a drug, I guess.

Then again.....

Also keep in mind, those "blue states" are only blue in big cities, surrounded by red counties.

Came here to agree.

Illinois, past I-80, is Bloooood red. Don't get it twisted kidzz.

It doesn't take long even in Northern California to drive out east from SF for it to start becoming dangerously Republican. First it's the rich country club Republicans, and then not long after that it starts becoming the home of the more dangerous Central Valley and Sierra Nevada redneck brethren.

we already know the spreme court won't hear any vaccine case. :punished:
I'm... not so sure. You see, their reluctance is largely based on not wanting to rock the boat. But like disobeying an order given, the more they rock the boat the less SCOTUS gives a fuck.

Now, are there any rulings lately that rocked the boat?

The court quietly built a conservative wall of law during Trump's presidency in many areas

So he did get a wall built somewhere

Since Barrett it has continued that somewhat less quietly

The law Biden is using was rejected by the Supreme Court in 1983 regarding asbestos

For all the whining that the GOP are GOPey cucks it is very well organized and energetic at the state level and goes to bat for its voters all the time through state AGs taking the feds to court.

The Democrats are pretty good at doing the same.

Looks like Florida will be back on the front pages of Joepedo outrage, can they fight the masks, mandates and TX abortion across all three fronts before Biden slips and calls someone a niggerfaggot?
You reap what you sow. This is another case of the left fucking themselves. Conservatives have long been willing to allow one state to come forward to challenge any particular issue, and remain calm themselves. The left pioneered the idea of suing Trump from multiple angles over everything.

What they forgot was that red states could do this too, and only ever held back out of politness.

I just assume Fauci must have dirt on half of DC at this point. Can't see any other reason to keep him around.
Probably not, he's more an advisor stuck in a department which until now hasn't had much in the way of authority or power. It's more likely Fauci is being kept on since the optics of firing him now would be terrible. He's effectively being retained as a sacrifice for when things inevitably get bad enough since there's so much out there regarding him for the media to have a field day.

For all Fauci is rightfully derided he's very much a small fish in a pond of sharks.
