I honestly think you should try to get her away from tiktok. If she’s so involved in the DID and disability community that she thinks she has multiple disorders, it’s likely that’s what most of her recommended videos are like, which just reinforces her “self-diagnoses.” Tiktok in general can be pretty toxic and rampant with misinformation too

Absolutely this. As someone who used to use Tiktok quite a lot, the algorithm picks up on everything and often times takes it too far. I even suspect(ed) myself that i might have adhd and tiktok just made me more and more unsure because even liking even things that are even remotely related will make you end up with more and more of the same content.
I have seen the phenomenon of teenagers like OPs daughter be heavily influenced by what they are constantly shown in their FYP’s (tiktok’s selected videos for the user) at times making themselves believe they have, adhd, autism, or that they are part of the lgbtq+ community (not saying all of them are not or that Op’s daughter isn’t either) but its just an echo chamber that it’s dangerous for teenagers who are looking for a sense of identity and might be easily influenced.
