Foot is gonna fall off when it falls off. It’ll happen when it happens. But personally, I’d be very interested to know how all of us came to be here. I feel like I can’t be the only one who was chewed out on [insert platform here] and found their way to this thread with stories to tell.

I know that at least some of you folks are here specifically because you helped ‘ace’ financially or in some other way, and got spat on and/or scammed in some way, but it would potentially be PLing too much to go into much detail. There are even more folks I have personally spoken to on [insert platform here] who have been screwed, but are not kiwis for one reason or another.

So I would be all for a poll asking how we all got here. That’s just me, though. Maybe if y’all can agree or disagree with this specific post, that might gauge the interest in doing this without shitting up the thread too terribly.

I'm assuming that's some kind of vocational education center aimed at educating criminal youths and mildly retarded teens with a history of violent outbursts, kids who the public school system can no longer control and educate. Not quite juvie, but has much more authority than a normal high school and has staff on site that can handle unruly teens when they violently act out, trying to get delinquents some kind of vocational education so they can hopefully get into stable jobs as adults instead of living lives of crime. I've seen those kinds of education centers, and they all have similar sounding names as Votech. Which means that Louie was trained in some sort of a vocation, which makes it all that more asinine that he's never had a job.

I don’t know about Greensburg, but in Pittsburgh, the votech school was just the high school that they put all of the trade education, like cosmetology, mechanics, etc. But before the school closed, Pittsburgh had this weird system in which they would house specific programs in certain schools.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Lou’s district had their votech as a solution to misbehaving kids, but Lou seems too violent to have been a safe student to have in even that program.
