Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Somber as my last post is, I saw this random sign nailed to a telephone pole in my town.

Maybe we're seeing the first stirrings of public discontent?
20210904_154519.jpg
The discontent has been there a -long- time, it's just that a mixture of factors ensured that the discontent could never blossom. The abundance of bread and circuses distracting people, active efforts to kill or subvert any opposition, and a continuing uniparty presence. It is only now that the grip has loosened that discontent can do anything.

The board is set to allow change to occur. The question remains if any change -shall- occur.
Another little whitepill for you guys. Just got finished talking to Mom, who pointed out a post on Instagay asking what people thought of Biden so far. Now, you'd think they'd be sucking his dick, right? Surprisingly, no. A lot of the 6,000 responses were variations on the following:

"Biden's sleepy, he's not doing shit. Also, where TF is Kamala?"
"I voted for/wish I voted for Donald Trump. He wasn't as bad as this, and at least he got shit done."
"Trump for President 2024!"
"Fuck the vaccine mandate."
And this one absolutely floored me:
"Biden is everything they said Trump was."

We most certainly ARE seeing the first signs of public discontent, and it was a much needed pick-me-up to hear those, ngl. Also found out that Mom's a bit more based than I thought: she said she actually respects (but doesn't agree with, of course) white supremacists, because at least they give a shit about their race, whereas black people as a whole do not unless they can get gibs/asspats from it. She also said that this respect for their race is why white people are the dominant cultural force today. That actually took me aback, because I never though I'd hear her say something like that, ever. All I know is, I'm riding high on rainbows right now. Hopefully this'll brighten up your day, too.

Every time Trump does this I have to smile slightly. He's basically being the President in all but name, doing all the stops he would have had he been in office, greeting people like he were the president, and in general being Presidential.

A deliberate and -painful- contrast to Biden.

The mandate just feels like desperation from an administration that has utterly imploded. Biden never had a base of support, he has never had supporters lined up to come and see him. The only thing Biden had floating him in the polls is Covid and in some polls he has dropped 30 points in support in just 8 months. I think they see the massive spike coming in the winter and they know this is going to get shot down multiple times in multiple courts, which is why they put the start of this in late January. I think they will then throw their hands up and scream how they had a plan to save everyone from the massive spike but the evil Republicans and the dirty unvaccinated stopped him. It is their hail o mary attempt to save 2022 and the presidency in 2024.

He's behaving like a President-in-exile. Here's hoping for a return on par with Aragorn and Douglas MacArthur.

It's plain as day that the Current Regime does not have confidence in its own legitimacy. Ignore what they say; instead, watch what they do.

The Qtards may believe Trump is still secretly president, but the Uniparty acts like it, as if Our Democracy™️ didn't cast down the Orange One once and for all. Corporate media propaganda seems like it's made to convince themselves of their own righteousness, rather than change the minds of those damn dirty Deplorables.

When he visited NYPD he also teased another run in 2024 the same way he did on Hannity (I can't say anything because of campaign finance rules but I think you'll be very happy). Does anyone actually know what rule he's referring to?
My understanding is, if he announced he was running, it would place strict restrictions on what advertisements he could run, how he could organise rallies, and how he could raise money from that point on. Right now he can rake in as much cash as he likes running his MAGA rallies.

Everyone would prefer a peaceful solution, but since that involves the currently entrenched tyrants losing power and wealth they have been working overtime to ensure that such solutions are increasing impossible. They have been turning up the heat as high as they can in as many spheres as possible while simultaneously shutting off all the normal pressure release valves and welding them shut. You'd almost think that they want violence, as if they hunger for blood.

Are they that confident, or just arrogant?

neither, they simply don' care. These people don't care about America or anyplace else, or human life in general and nowadays they have little financial stake in it, if anything they have bet against America.
If the country erupts in a firestorm of violence, everything goes to hell and the whole system falls apart, they'll be long gone and asking their masters for a promotion for their role in helping topple America and aiding the rise of other countries they're invested in

My mom is nearing mid-70's and she told me every time she sees Biden's face she wants reach in the TV to bitch-slap him. I had a hearty laugh.

Through my job I can say that what I've heard is often quite anti-Biden and anti-immigration, with just a smattering of TDS still rolling around in conversation. I'd guess it's probably at about a 4:1 ratio.

So President Biden is hanging out at an invite-only event for deep state assets where they pretend to feel sorry about the crimes they committed against the American people. Granted President Obama wasn't involved in 9/11, but he did plenty of other stuff like droning American citizens and arming cartel terrorists.

And President Trump is out on the street meeting people and visiting with firefighters and police officers in New York City. Then capping off his day with a guest hosting spot at a boxing match.

9-11 has not made us better as a country at all. The knee-jerk reactions were much too harsh overall. Still not sure if our continental air defense has been upgraded.
The Washington DC area has gotten significant upgrades including a large-ish 15 mile no-fly zone as well as (rumored) missile launchers, etc.

The rest of the country, including NYC, has gotten small flight restriction areas around active sporting events and there are now permanent no-fly zones around Disney World and Disneyland. These do absolutely nothing except keep advertising planes/blimps from annoying the corporations that paid for legislators to get these restrictions in place. They're so small in area that by the time someone notices they've been breached and determined they were a threat the damage has already been done. There are somewhat larger restrictions around major events like the Superb Owl that may actually involve having fighters already in the air.

This mother fucker cannot keep his hands off kids, unfuckingbelievable ...

This is correct, it's part of why all campaigning is done in two stages. Pre-announcement, where funding is done the most as it has the fewest restrictions. Then Post-announcement, where the candidate can take ample advantage of the benefits of campaign finance laws.

Did you know that a candidate cannot be denied an advertising slot, and that it must be offered to them at the lowest available rate as determined by national standards? This is why NGOs pay upwards of -ten times- the cost for the exact same advertising slots.

There's some photographic evidence to suggest that launchers do indeed cover the airspace in Washington. Obviously it's pretty beyond question the White House has them but I'm personally inclined to believe many federal buildings in the D.C. area do. Especially Langley.

President Trump has always been inspiring to the people that weren't brainwashed into hating him and weren't turned off by him being an ass to the people slandering him 24/7.

Since last election he's really gone out of his way to show he's still around and everyone (except the Dems) seem to be loving it. Like him or hate him, between his charisma and Bidens inevitable and repeated failures it's likely going to change some things in the long term for the better.

His tenure as president notwithstanding, I don't really like Trump as a person, but holy fuck do I have a ton more respect for him now. I don't trust him to build the wall anymore, but I'd vote for him again if the nominee decision came down to him or some milquetoast RINO in 2024.

The fact he appears to have taken his health seriously is a big boon to him. The question of his health will inevitably come up given Joe's degradation. By losing a lot of weight and changing the spray tan out for the Florida sun, he can really reduce a lot of that worry.

Same, actually. I find the man on a personal level to be somewhat repugnant. But I can acknowledge he does a good job, and even has positive traits.

There's also the Air Force District of Washington, HQ'ed at Joint Base Andrews, dedicated solely to defending DC airspace.

And the Secret Service get all the sexy new cutting-edge toys.

Unlike other politicians, when Trump pretends to give a shit about his constituents, he at least looks like he's trying to be sincere.

The Trumpian GOP at least has a desire to be a populist party; they just suck at it right now, because they have too many attachments to corporatism and interventionism. The Dems, by contrast, are transparent in their contempt for the common man.
