Protests in France look to be getting a bit violent over the Pass Sanitaire (https://archive.md/az2v7) in Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Nice and other frog cities. 9th weekend of protests over the pass. Brussels, Belgium also has protests and Bern, Switzerland. Further videos of Paris (archive) of police under attack and undercovers being recognised by civilians in Toulouse. Making a news story about some random antivaxxer who died after refusing the vaxx is like making a news story about some random libertarian who didn't believe in seatbelts dying in a car crash. Although for someone like a right-wing talk show host who dies I think it's perfectly fine since they're public figures and they're on record saying they took that chance. The same thing goes with someone who's vaxxed and dies of either the disease or "mysterious causes" (i.e. the vaxx). If they aren't public figures, there's no reason the media should be reporting on their deaths.

But what really gets me about these stories is how fucking formulaic they are. It's all just a knockoff of Christians telling about atheists having deathbed conversions. Like look at this shit, it's some fat bitch who supposedly got the virus and died but was healthy enough to make TikTok videos crying about how she wished she was vaxxed earlier and how she could hear the "moans and screams of the dying" (because we all know people dying of a respiratory virus often scream in pain). I burst out laughing when I read this, it reads like the really hilarious deathbed conversion stories you'd hear at a fundie church about atheists begging Jesus for forgiveness as Satan's demons drag them down into the lake of fire.

There is certainly a rebellion underway in red states. There will be no mandate in 2/3 of the country amd no need to shoot each other.

So far democracy is working and none of this will stand in the courts.

Florida legislature is outright speaking about secession. Tho nothing has been filed this sort of talk is unusual. Especially with activity in wyoming and texas legislature early in the year and continued talk.


Personally i think the courts will kill it and this fall it will be undeniable the vaccines dont work.

As in, would these states still be against a mandate in these numbers, if this was handled in a different way? For example; "if a state reaches >75% jabbed, it receives $1 trillion dollars in bonus funds"?

These passports and restrictions are happening. They were going to happen when the majority got the poke. Will they be as severe as what is proposed? I don't believe so, but they will be happening. Even if it is more along the lines of a priority thing. "jabbed individuals get to shop before unjabbed"/"jabbed get tickets first"/"jabbed get 1 week of the christmas markets before the unjabbed are allowed in" etc etc

I will say I'm in the south and everyone here just generally respects each other's decision to mask up or not.

There are a few businesses that put back the "mask required" sign but people usually just ignore it and do what they want. If they're asked to put on a mask they usually just leave. Because of this certain shops have been EXTREMELY less busy since they decided to double down.

Masks at my local shopping center are on super wholesale and a lot (but not all unfortunately) of my liberal friends have realized a lot of this is complete bullshit based around a power grab. Lots of them openly despise Biden.

Things are more sane than what's on Twitter or the News my dudes. At least where I am people seem to be waking up and returning to normal, back like they were in 2019 (including hating on the current president lol)

I too am in the south and its basically the same for my area. Not seen any stores mandate masks and no one cares if you have one or not. My area is pretty sane everyone is going about their lives like normal. Which honestly is pretty comforting to see.
