She asked the Reignite Cup organisers if she should level up more because she was just a Gold player (she was trying to bullshit them into thinking she wasn't good at the game) but they already knew she was a Pred when they approached her.

She was told she'd be Team Captain 30 minutes before her collab with Pomu, and wasn't told until after she accepted that she'd have about 4 days to make a team. By this point, most people she could've asked are already in a team - except Bonnivier, who she's asked but he was asleep and didn't initially respond.

All in all I don't think she's going in there expecting any big results. I think she just saw an opportunity to get sweaty and make some connections with other players for the future. Given that other teams are already practicing together and both she and Bonni have no APEX tournament experience, they're probably just going to fly by the seat of their pants and cause problems in the match.

On top of her weekly collab which is confirmed, she also has Shibuya Hal's custom lobby, and now she has been asked to fill the final slot of Team Captain for the Reignite Cup. It seems that she didn't expect it to take place literally the following week when she was invited, so I imagine her team is going to be thrown together quite haphazardly. This means she could be streaming 4 days of Scrims and tournament day.

Yeah it's unfortunate. I don't mind the lack of point deduction but I think not having a deadline for organisers to assign Captains and a deadline for those Captains to make teams makes it look really amateurish.

Nothing that experience and time can't fix, as this is only the 2nd Reignite Cup (the 1st was 2 months ago), but my god they need to look at their contemporaries and start nabbing the ideas that work.

I'm excited nonetheless. Get her name out there by going monkey mode and use this as a means to start becoming a regular in the tournament circuit. My guess is that the platinum player they need to fill the team will be Hoshikawa as she's an English-speaking high-plat Niji with tournament experience. This is assuming everyone accepts.

True but one of those Scrim days gets in the way of Deathloop release day whether she streams it or not, which was what she was getting at, and if her schedule is finalised and none of them overlap then it is possible she'll guerilla them. At the very least, you'll probably hear her through the mics of her teammates. I assume she planned to do a big Deathloop release stream but will have to cut it in half to prep for late night scrims.

This week is going to be brutal on her regardless of what gets streamed tbh. I hope she takes an extra day or two off the following week.

Kiara trying to fight Demise (the final boss of Skyward Sword) was pure suffering for both her and the viewers. She could not get the sword to charge (and it's quite annoying to get it to work, I admit) and started whining. A LOT. She wanted to finish the game today and got more and more frustrated, instead of giving up for now and trying at a later time - she raqequit eventually and privated the stream. Mind you, Kiara is my favourite HoloEN vtuber, but goddamn that was a disaster.

Honestly disagree, the only issue I had was her privating the VoD, sure she was whiny but not particularly much.

Fuck yeah, boomer shooter streams are always fun. Pomus Doom playthroughs have been great so far, especially the part in her Doom 2 playthrough where she started politely shitting on Sandy Petersen.
