StoneToss (allegedly, formerly Red Panels)

@AnOminous
That isn't even a Jew thing, that's John Harvey Kellogg shit, who somehow convinced hospitals across the country to chop the foreskins off kids for no really valid medical reason.

At the time there were plenty of medical journals about the harm of masturbation.

The goal of circumcision (and also the goal of bland unsugared cornflakes) was to reduce sexual activity, both solo and with partner.

Read jewish sages like maimonides and they recommend circumcision for the same reason. Reducing masturbationand reducing sexual activity.

Also consider that reducing sexuality was a valid health preventative advice in 1910 as there was no medicine for stds such as syphilus.

Funny how the big elephant guy is made out to be a violent killer to a small defenseless little snake. That doesn't seem to be an inversion of what's happening there at all.

Although as a symbol it's a very fertile image now that I look at it. Recalls both the parable of the snake and the gullible caring woman who takes it in, as well as the snake being positioned to strike towards where the child would be.

What is it with stonetoss ripoffs looking so ugly and somewhat disturbing? Like I look at stonetoss and his comics look pretty normal, then I look at breadpanes and for some reason it just feels like it's something entirely unnatural.
I think it's mostly comes down to 1) lack of skill 2) simply being hateful. That in general explain most political cartoons.

I don't like saying this, but I think it's the truth. It's a reflection of the soul, in everything you create. You have that giorgi or whatever that was posted here earlier? The art is a lot better, perhaps better than stonetoss is some ways, but it also has that bit of twisted soul element to it.

Of course antifa/communist comics go a lot further, because it means the author rejects natural order. Rejects the idea of hierarchies. Rejects a lot of basic human truths. And the result is like most of christian rock; it's not inspired, it's a rooted in a corporate kind of "it should be like this" rather than listening to a muse of inspiration.

Good creative work always spirals beyonds the intentions of its author. I don't really put stonetoss on that level; it's all political, it's all very deliberate. But despite stonetoss not being on that level (I don't think stonetoss has ever surprised himself with a comic), it's possible to go against it more, to be more forced, less authentic, less truthful than stonetoss is. And the result is this queesy unnaturalness.

Anyone unfamiliar with the basic antifastonetoss comics ask the same questions. Is this a joke? Wait what is their real point? People have difficulty grasping it and think there's some deeper play (as there is about 1/3 times in stonetoss comics).

As a last note, breadpanes is also kind of hateful. Like he couldn't even make the snake or the elephant sympathetic in the setup, ruining any shock that the other two panels show. Reminds me of the time Louis CK mentioned a backroom guy who put the hamper on a catholic joke. The joke was: "People are really mean to catholics.... and that is because they are wrong about god". The guy meddling with the joke said: Some people really do feel like people are mean to catholics and you're saying it in a mean and condescending way. Could you tell the same joke, but be really sympathetic to them in the first bit?

And he said it made the joke much much better and it's an example how the critics that sometimes control what can be said, can also have very good genuine points.

This is the bit antifa doesn't get about stonetoss popularity, because he does it all the time, dab on himself, dab on his side, show some sympathicness of other sides. Where a comic gets posted, antifastonetoss loves the edit and then discovers it isn't an edit.

I doubt we'll get a very sympathetic troon or gay guy anytime soon, but as I said, the stonetoss comic is still political and that meshes with my "biases".

Thank you for coming to my tedtalk, we should save the whales.

Seems unlikely that one guy in 1900 convinced every hospital in america to systematically mutilate new born baby's genitals
Same dude convinced most of America to eat corn flakes too. He had a huge cult following including in the medical profession. He wasn't the only one pushing the idea but he was the most prominent and influential.

And treating young female children with acerbic acid to the clitoris with the same goals as sought by the circumcision of males (curbing masturbation and sexual acitivity in general).

But of course the US was too much of a patriarchy and misogynist to want to help women, so they only followed his advice in regards to men.

I think it has to do more with the (somewhat reality-based perception) that girls don't have as strong of sex drives, so boys beating their meat got a higher place on the pearl-clutchers' triage.

Let's post the Roald Dahl thing again.
