It is about Delta variant vs previous variants of SARS-CoV-2, with health workers that have been vaxxed in 2021. Not that vaxxed people carry it more than none vaxxed.

There was no covid vax in march - April 2020, but also no Delta variant. The data from 11th-25th June 2021 was Delta,

You can't compare the two in the way you are because how do you know the higher load is due to the vax or due to the Delta variant. You need to compare vaxed to unvaxed in relation to the delta variant. Or you can compare unvaxxed people with the different strains if you want info close to what you are saying. Lots of factors the study doesn't seem to have taken into account.

For it to be a gotcha like you want and are using it as, it would need to show those that who are unvaxxed that worked in the infectious diseases hospital in Vietnam, also had a lower infection rate when it came to the delta strain.

I was considering getting the vaccine and I really might have done, but the mandate has 100% dissuaded me. Even if COVID had a CFR higher than ~.15% in my age group, I still probably wouldn’t get it. I don’t want the government to think they can achieve 100% compliance for something like this through authoritarian pressure. Maybe that’s retarded but it’s where my head is at right now. It’s one thing to trust your doctor but another thing entirely to blindly trust government bureaucrats who play doctor on TV.

I have always been hyper-skeptical of crackpot medicine for reasons I won’t get into, but over the past few years my faith in the medical establishment has been shaken to almost the same degree. Watching a bunch of brainlet doctors & nurses claim BLM protests magically don’t spread the virus but protests they don’t like have six gorillion confirmed grandma kills. Hearing from people I know who are in medical school right now, telling me that most of their classmates think men can become women. Combined with some unfortunate personal experiences, I’m left with no choice but to be skeptical.

I don’t think the vaccine is particularly dangerous, nor that it’s part of a depopulation scheme or whatever. Best case scenario, it’s a vaccine that isn’t quite as effective as we hoped. Worst case scenario, it’s a trial run to test their ability to achieve 100% compliance.

The problem is that absolute illiterate speds who think modern medicine is used by the lizard folk to turn humans into a mindless drone to be organ harvested will invade any space or movement that tries to get traction going against covid-related policy that are stupid for reasons unrelated to vaccination - in the early stages of the pandemic, they were closing public parks where I lived at the time, thinking it would prevent people meeting each other; This is nonsense of course, people would just meet at their home. An enclosed space with far less air circulation. Fucking retarded, but if you tried to speak out against that for these reasons, you were immediately lobbed in with the bill-gates-5g-chip tards and unfortunately, not without reason. There's scores of nutcases who think vaccinations are some sort of satanic mark of the beast and covid is the end times and funnily enough, there's quite a few of them fx in Germany; And they will absolutely make themselves a vocal part of any anti-covid policy group.

Even though I'm a great fan of vaccines (I've had quite a few shots in the past beyond normal shit because I backpacked to weird rural places in buttfuck nowhere) and I think mRNA is really cool tech, I don't see how one can mandate it for anyone who isn't working in a medical care facility (and even then, an alternative ideally should be presented) where high-risk groups are overrepresented.
Not because it's not sensible to be vaccinated in my view, but because the fucking government should not be trusted with that kind of power. It's one of the main arguments against the death penalty - the government should never have a legal avenue to kill its citizens. In a similar vein, the government should never have the power to categorically inject everyone when they feel like it. I feel like it's the opposite: the media focuses on the schizoids to discredit level headed concerns, whether it's intentional or not. The kooky conspiracy theorists are a tiny minority but they've been blown out of proportion, to the point where people genuinely think that the 40-odd percent unvaccinated in nearly Western country believe in Bill Gates microchips.

If anything, I think this approach has only backfired. The media, social or old, have taken a scattershot approach to attack or outright censor any dissenting opinion by lumping it into the tinfoil hat categoruly, which doesn't work because the people running these companies are just as medically illiterate as the people they're fighting against. This leads to them reflexively denouncing even legitimate observations and then having to backtrack once it becomes undeniable that they might have some validity, because actual science isn't some fixed monolithic dogma and our understanding changes by the day, especially when dealing with a novel disease and ways to combat it. We've seen it with the notion that vaccines might not be 100% bulletproof, that they might have side effects, the Wuhan lab theory, the Delta variant not being ebolaids, and we're seeing it most blatantly now with ivermectine.

The end result is the transformation of a whole section of society into people who are every bit as deranged as the most insane antivaxxer. People who unironically say that a WHO-endorsed medicine which has been used on millions of people isn't fit for human consumption, who refuse to even entertain the idea that an antiviral drug might have antiviral properties, just because they have deluded themselves into accepting an absurdly narrow and static worldview.

They smatched actual policy and research from the hands of doctors and scientists about a year ago, grossly misinterpreted it, and then enshrined it into a religion, declaring that anything that deviates from it is foul heresy, even as those very doctors and scientists continue to advance our knowledge. It's a mindset that has been just as harmful as that of the conspiracy theorists, as they've convinced a broad swathe of the population that the vaccine would be our end-all solution to the virus.
