Normally, I have a high tolerance for Tumblr bullshit but as someone who is bipolar and has major anxiety (both social and general) this shit fucking infuriates me. Ever since I was a kid, mental illness has dictated my life and not in a good way. You wanna wake up ever single night in sheer paranoia and panic because you think someone is gonna break into your house and kill you? Do you like the idea of not showering or taking care of yourself because you just don't give a shit about anything? You think isolating yourself from friends and family because you feel like your mood swings and breakdowns ruin everything for them is awesome? Do you really want to feel that you're not worthy of associating yourself with anyone because you're so pathetic and lame? Probably not.
I don't even want anyone to pity me because I'm definitely not the only person who goes through this stuff but trust me when I say that MENTAL ILLNESS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO HAVE. Acting like it's a~*trendy label when in reality, it can ruin your life and in some extreme cases drives people to attempt or commit suicide is fucking disrespectful.

They just think that the entire world should be inclusive in every way. It's like, I hate roller coasters right? They make me puke and I get no enjoyment from them at all so I don't ride them. In magical Tumblrland all theme parks would be required to only construct slow roller coasters with less than 2 g turns and no speed over 30 mph in order to accommodate me. Basically what the Tumblr attitude dictates is that "I can't/won't/am to fucking obese to take part in this activity. I cannot accept that not every human being/Siberean Husky trapped in a human body can do everything and therefore I believe any activity I cannot enjoy (or at least not shlick to whilst watching like rugby) should be toned down and made accessible. If you complain that Football is no fun if everyone just queues up on the hard rubber, fat-cart accessible pitch and uses a bowling chute to take a shot at a sixty foot wide goal with no keeper you're oppressing me. Also rape, everything is rape. Last time I had a heart attack the paramedic raped me whilst putting the defib pads on me then raped me again by touching my neck rolls to take a pulse. I also experienced fat shaming because I had to be put in a bariatric (specially adapted fat person) ambulance. To further add insult he listed me as 'female' on his paperwork because he said that 'poly-gender, lard-kin, genderfluid, doorsexual, rock fetishist' wouldn't fit."

The thing that gets me is that history is taught not only to remember what happened, but to also make sure that we don't make the same mistakes again.
People on tumblr just want revenge on the world because they were social rejects all their lives. Therefore, they use the ongoing issues such as sexism, racism, classism, and such as scapegoats for their shitty and abusive behavior.

This is why I hate umbrella terms like "queer." They're acceptable in some terms but in addition to lumping a lot of diverse identities together and acting like they're the same, you got people who push other identities into the movement and nobody can really say anything about it without looking like an asshole because it's an "umbrella" term. Asexual aren't and shouldn't be apart of the LGBT movement unless they're gay, bisexual, or trans themselves. If you're asexual but straight, you're not queer. Hate to break it to you, you special snowflakes.

It makes an excellent shield to hide behind. Any criticism or disagreement is a morally charged attack. "Do you side with the victim, or do you side with the racist?" is the implied question. Likewise, questioning the tumblr feminist agenda gets you labeled as a misogynisic, tone-policing, gaslighting rape apologist. Words like these are given a magical quality, you use them and you automatically win the argument by default.
