Can someone explain why Phil gintweeted a response to one of the hololive girls?

I'm still struggling to figure out how he sought that out when he clearly doesn't show any interest in the vtuber thing. I can only imagine someone tagged him in their own joke reply, so of course he saw the opportunity to make his own unfunny clout-chasing reply to remind the internet that he was the guy that tried lying to cover up the fact that he jacked off on webcam.

You know what really gets me though, is that he used that awful boomer Tenor GIF search thing that he's so fond of (that he also used today on his snarky Deathloop tweet, look at this funny shocked dog haha!), to search for his own name. And sure enough the "You better take a sip, you fuckin sleazy asshole" gif is there in the search.

What does this mean? It means that Phil doesn't even have his own content to post in situations like this and has to use that awful GIF searcher. Which means he has to type in his own name into it and also see gifs like this pop up.

She demanded that Phil took an extra day off for her birthday and then he took her to fucking burger king. He then spent the rest of the day upset about having too much sauce on his burger and probably ruined her day.

This is in addition to only seeing her for 1 hour a day (which I kind of believe...) and spending no time together at all doing couple stuff like days out or vacations. She married a man who works at home and takes home 120k a year but lives like a prisoner in solitary to a man child she never sees while being half the country away from friends and family. She has no one but Phil and Phil spends all his day avoiding her.

I can honestly see it, it's about time she realised this is her life.

Why would you do that? Any streamer who buys stuff on the stream always blacks the screen out so no sensitive information is leaked.

This is the same guy that nearly had his brand new Sexbox hacked by a former fan 2 months ago, who he then proceeded to blame and effectively dox, all because he insisted on livestreaming the boring ass first time boot of the console.

Cares so little he has to pause the game to explain to his audience "I'm not a fag, I PROMISE" before picking the dude, and then has to even further explain his choice.

It's shit like that that almost makes me think Phil's fucking with his detractors. Whenever he acts like this, whenever he goes over the top about a guy in a game (this Ryan guy in this one is a great example), or gets visibly uncomfortable by the inclusion of a woman anywhere within a 30 mile radius of his own character, it makes me wonder if he WANTS the speculation. I'm not sure if it's a case of wanting it intentionally (trying to fuck with us so we speculate about his sexuality like the weirdos we are I am) or unintentionally (as a cry for help, being a gay man stuck in a straight pig's body) but when it happens, it sets me wondering.

But there's always the much simpler, grounded answer that Phil is immature and insecure about sexuality of any kind, which is backed up by his history. Sorry, legacy.

Honestly this is one of the thing that boggles the mind with Phil.
He's always so damn quick to bring up to his chat whenever he has a problem, no matter how minute it is. But he almost always follows it up with either "Oh well, there's nothing that can be done about it I guess, just gotta tough through it!" or "None of your fucking business you moron!"
Why even bring it up in the first place, then? Either way he assures his audience that they shouldn't care about or pry into the problem but that doesn't stop him from complaining about it. Like when he cries about a heatwave, or the recent Jasper debacle.
He's such a chronic victim that he gets himself mad at the chat because he brought up his woes to them in the first place.
And he likes to give these condescending diatribes about "not freaking out because I'm an adult" or "soldiering on". If you were "toughing through it" you wouldn't have even whined about it to begin with.

I can't help but feel like Phil has some sort of disability that makes him incapable of imagining himself as someone else.

You know how there are conditions like aphantasia, where a person who has it can't visualize anything? It's just impossible to them, they can't think of a banana and "see" it inside their mind.

It's like Phil has some condition that makes him incapable of role playing. Every fucking game he has to say "uhh, this is stupid, I can't make a choice here". It's not you, dumbass, it's the character. Stop self-inserting and play as the character.

Jesus, imagine Phil playing a tabletop RPG. He'd have to play as a Human Beggar otherwise any other character would have him saying "uhhhh, no, I can't use magic in real life, why would I use it here??? Nuhuh".

Are you saying that Phil: The man who makes a Phil clone in EVERY SINGLE GAME with character customization, right down to the correct goatee, even if it takes half an hour, has no imagination?!

You seem to forget that the chat is Phil’s literally only social outlet. Aside from Khat who’s either never around or probably not interested.

You and I have friends and family members to talk to. Phil has.... His chat.

The chat may be his only social outlet, but he also hates the guts of everyone in it, be it detractor or real Derich. This means that he wants to appeal to them for asspats but must be aware of how humiliating it is to look worse than his wheelchairs and be mocked by them where anyone can see.

I also think that he really has to fight the urge to flex on them, which also leads to him hating how he has to beg them and look weak to people he considers inferior. The best analogy is like that of the chat being that coworker no one likes but is necessary to keep the business open.
