Apologies, my point wasn't clearly stated enough, specifically I mean that if the source material goes away, AND the youtube videos citing it goes away by virtue of that strategy I mentioned (which would require hunting down specific videos to target, but once you have that list, down they come), others start to have a problem putting a coherent story together after the fact, which is clearly the damage contemplated by the writers of the letter.

To use a shitty analogy, sure you can't clean up the whole mess, but you can clean up the obvious proverbial cat-turds, visible puddles of pee, and vomit, hoping that the whiff of cat-piss that remains somewhere behind the baseboards or possibly leaked into the floor vents, and what it implies, doesn't elicit further curiosity from the average person. For most, if tracking own the source of the proverbial smell takes more than 5 minutes, they probably give up.

I think you're absolutely right that you can't hope to clean it up completely, that objective is absolutely futile; my contention is simply that I don't think they'd have to do that. With some effort over time you could absolutely clean up the obvious sources, remembering that whether the info is indexed is clearly at the forefront of their mind given they explicitly mention this, and taking down major targets on large platforms absolutely would accomplish this gradual de-indexing goal assuming the more or less central repository, KF, ain't easily findable or is flat out baleeted for a specific subject.

That said, de-indexing the info on KF is absolutely the minimum such a strategy would require to be successful and I'm not sure completing that objective is looking so hot...

While it is true that such things can vanish and be lost, and resources can be scrubbed, the internet never truly forgets, especially something this egregious.

Even if Janky Janke succeeded in getting rid of the KF threads, the YouTube videos, and articles on her, there's still people who would know, who would have some things backed up, or at least be able to pass on that oral history, those screenshots saved to hard drives... it's too big to go down the memory hole. There's no putting this genie back in the bottle. This is going to haunt her for the rest of her days, and unless she decides to fuck off to Nepal or somewhere and become a Buddhist monk or something, this is her legacy. She will never be able to get away from this; at least, not for a very long time.

I would like to state for the record that she in truth didn’t actually talk Chris into this (that I am aware of and if I’m wrong correct me)- he was doing it on his own and confiding in her that he was doing this. I personally haven’t seen that she was the catalyst of the idea. Then again the threads got really murky and convulsed so I may have missed it. What I DID see was her justifying and writing reasons that it was totally ok.
What I saw and heard was her saying she wanted to make a sex tape of Fiona and Chris.
What I saw was her dry fucking some girl for the amusement of whomever was filming and for her own gratification and “bad bitch” status.
