I watch the show for PPP. Surfer was originally a small quirky element but the quirky element is best used sparingly vs everytime.

Surfer has basically become the equivalent of gators soundboard. The quirky interruptions used to be funny but now its annoying & distracting.

Surfer was barely even drunk and if I recall correctly, just last stream, PPP was encouraging surfer to take bigger shots. It had more to do with PPP being on a diet and his body and mind being hungover and shell-shocked from his pizza-eating, strip club-visiting weekend of degeneracy. The show had no order and surfer's rambling was carrying it if anything. Honestly if I was surfer and read this shit, I would just fuck off and leave you guys with uninterrupted, sweaty fat man rants forever since that's what you want apparently.

I guess this fight isn't too surprising. I mentioned on the fediverse a month ago that it looked like PPP was losing his cool at the Surfer derailments as he kept talking over Surfer. A month of that resentment brewing and here we are.

I think they both kind of had a point. Surfer was a bit drunk and he has been derailing things a bit recently but PPP has also been a bit short tempered since the weight loss saga started. No its surfer when he gets too drunk and he turns into a broken record and repeats the same thing 50 times when it stops being funny after the 3rd time. Last show he went on about jerking off over and over again for the whole show.

Surfer is annoying. He has very little rhythm to when he chooses to interrupt and frequently stops PPP mid-thought, when I'm really curious what he's going to say, to deliver a total non-sequitur.

Even worse, he frequently contradicts PPP and blows the momentum altogether and starts a disagreement before PPP even can finish his opinion.

Even worse, his contradictions are often just cope or cringe takes. He says there's nothing wrong with being ethically Jewish (because he is part Jewish), he defends dating teenagers in one stream. Any time some alt-right fag is being roasted, surfer will offer some kind words.

It really is mind numbing. Like, at this point, we know surfer aligns politically 100% with a teenager on /pol/, so it's unnecessary for him to interject. He might as well have a button to press that just adds a Fallout style "surfer didn't like that" sticker on the stream overlay so we can move on without having to hear specifics.

The last time I saw a stream with them, PPP had developed a habit of just ignoring the interruptions and talked over him. Surfer didn't seem to notice and nothing was lost.

I like Surfer's takes in small doses, it was good when he used to just come in and offer a take while he was taking a break from work and go back after a few minutes but this stream with talking about the gambling, bringing it up multiple times when he could left it alone or when he kept talking about jerking off during the Mike Enoch stream, it does get a bit much at times. He has been going overboard with it recently.
Hopefully they figure it out and kiss and make up and maybe PPP can only stream while Surfer is working so he'll be distracted outside of Cuckada, Cooking With Surfer or special episodes like the Baked and Chaggot ones.
I did laugh when Surfer started called him Ashton that was a real "I'm your father" move.
