Mari into a menhera who would be quite unhealthy for Tsunderia.
I've only ever heard about the yabs of Tsunderia in passing. I agree with you that it'd be unhealthy for Tsunderia but only because I only know that Tsunderia is slowly working back into a better position and someone like this would probably ruin them again.
She just figured out how to play her piano directly on stream so hopefully we'll get some mini concerts like the ones Lee Roha does.
Better idea; Piano duet collab stream with Lee Roha.
Plus Nabi is doing arguably as good if not better than NijiKR despite not streaming that much. I guess HoloKR might be the next immediate target.
To be fair here, NijiKR wasn't doing too well because they tried to appeal to Weeb Koreans on Youtube Streaming. YT isn't even in the top 5 streaming sites in Korea iirc so the visibility is already low for them. I might be misinformed but from what I've seen most of the successful NijiKRs tend to be the ones that either appeal to the Japanese audience (ie: Nun Bora) or more so their English audience (ie: Ban Hada). Nabi seems to fall into both categories, she doesn't really seem to lean on being Korean-focused but appealing to fans of her "daughters" like Amelia/Uto.

Metrics like this are really important to keep in mind when you're talking about the viability of markets.

If you were a company who wanted to promote your product to a Korean audience, would you choose Nabi with an overwhelmingly large English fanbase, or NijiKR with a small, concentrated sect of weeb Korean fans? Is Anya better at capturing the ID market than Nara? Maha5, who are largely considered to be the oligarchs of the Indonesian V-Tubing scene do not actually get that many views but do get plenty of money.

And while I agree that a HoloKR is a non-starter, it isn't because other Korean V-Tubers are seeing more success out of a company, it's because those members would get a lot of subs and viewers but the overwhelming majority will be from outside the branch's intended audience. Nabi, Kronii, Ina are all Koreans or speak Korean but their market is EN and JP. At that point, Cover might as well just invest more into their existing branches.

It's not really good to speak in absolutes on business decisions when your only data is live viewer counts. The important stuff is all on the backend and in analytics we'll never get to see.

I like the description.
We out here building CHEMISTRY and also we don't know what we're doing.

The duck has some bad news in 20 minutes or so about her 3d live. She specifically said she's fine and it isn't china flu so we'll see.

Edit: Postponed her live show, been ill over the last few days and although she feels a bit better today management thought it was for the best to push it back in case she gets worse again as it was meant to be on 10/16(?). Awful luck duck as last years had to be cancelled as well.

Seeing a lot of people comparing Ame with Coco and I really feel like that's selling both of them short. Ame definitely was inspired by Coco, she's said as much on a few occasions. And is doing Ame in the AM because it was something Coco wanted or at the very least heavily implied that she wanted Ame to continue it.

But they're both creative in their own ways. Coco definitely was original with the Asacoco format, meme-review, etc. But for the most part, she pushed the boundary of what Hololive members were considered allowed to do. And the environment she left behind allows someone like Ame to thrive and use that room to be able to push what was seen as physically impossible.

There were a lot of things mentioned about what she did before. But some other things that were missed out were "Feet on the table" and its derivatives (nevermind, it was mentioned). And also blending her Avatar with real life, which was started by her photoshopping a mirror image of herself on her CPU Cooler when she took a picture of her new set-up. Which, even though it was more subtle, has also been used by a lot of Hololive members. I know Moona went through a phase where she used it a few times. Bubbabot is also worth mentioning along with implementing StreamElements (and whatever she uses for the phsyical Superchat thingies), which she's done for a lot of members including Coco and to a certain extent kson, who still uses them.

Is Hololive's gimmick for Houshou to just be horny af and get viewers? Because its working.
I can also hear her manager having a stroke every time she posts from here lol!

With Marine it's either sexy stuff or self deprecation and she is good at both!

Awful luck duck as last years had to be cancelled as well.

Ducky has some pretty shit luck. House burns down, gets run over by a car, anniversary postponed twice, tries to introduce friends to her channel and they sub to other holos, life loves to kick Subaru's ass for giggles but she stays strong!
