I like the reply the guy made to Robert's nonsense.
Anyway, Robert's gotta pick a lane here, either the world is driven by the brute superstitious masses that are stripping women's rights in Texas or the enlighted diversity took over the system, we can't have both.
And of course that ain't the case, the ridiculous of these wealthy people doing activism is that it is a shallow display, it is just theatrics and no amount of "discussion" it may generate, it is clear that they don't have a ounce of investment into the changes they claim to want, and everybody can see that, so it becomes just this embarrasing spectacle of rich idiots dressing like fools, they ain't running shit.
Fuck, looking at the clusterfuck that the democrat party became, and how the republicans turned into the Donald Trump show, I would say no one is running shit, whoever was behind the curtains, if there ever was someone, already fucked off a while ago.
But honestly, spoiled rich celebs playing activism is such old news, they have been doing that since forever, hell I remember when the topic of the year was african kids, and every pop celeb had to go to there and adopt a kid there. So, you know, there isn't even a point to get mad or frustrated at these idiots.
The funny thing on all this is how hard Robert tries to defend this idiocity, reasoning that this is somehow a "practical gain and victory for the most deserving and in need" is some high level mental gymnastics, and the reason on why Robert does that is that the sad idiot somehow thinks he is in the same class as them, you know, the "thinkers" shit.
Of course he would NEVER say this outloud, because at it's face it is a ridiculous claim, these are successful and rich people and Robert is a internet meme, but on his hearts of hearts he believes to be the same as them, to be part of the smart and diverse people who will save the future, and so he harbours these delusions of grandeur by using these dolts as proxy.
Kinda like when Robert convinced himself to be friends with a woman because they shared the same tastes in movies and political views, thinking that he was a colleague and a part of group he aspired to, and we all know how that turned out.
