Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

A couple of questions is where is the turnout for Elder ffs. 6 million showed up twice for Trump and only about a third were half assed to get rid of Newsom. Do they really need Trump to endorse everything.

The CA GOP cucked hard and didn't fully fall behind Elder and some think that Elder was like a GOP response to Obama. When Elder came in late because otherwise, the GOP was serious on their pick of Caitlyn Jenner. Elder himself should abandon the tactic of pointing out Democrat double standards, 2016 and 2020 has shown it to be a meaningless strategy.
The CA GOP exists?

While the CA GOP is retarded, it wasn't that they didn't fall behind Elder in CA, it is because they fell fully behind Elder in CA.

They turned an election to recall a exceptional governor into a fucking R vs D election in California.

Everyone knows what a statewide R vs D election in California is going to look like: a D+20 win. Its obvious that is what Newsom wanted and he got it.

Trump is the rockstar and the person that makes the GOP move, his name on the ballot was good enough to give any down ballot candidate a 3%+ boost. California is California, it is never going to change, with the massive influx of illegals and all the free handouts, there is nothing that will change California red, same way with Virginia. A blood red state is held hostage by Norther/North Eastern Virginia because it became the home for all the swamp rats in DC. The only hope for these states is civil disobedience at a local level. You have seen it in Virginia where mayors of 80+ counties, sheriffs, and even judges have told Northam to go fuck himself on his "assault weapons" ban, and refused to follow the law. It is all going to come to a head eventually, there is no way for this situation in this country to end peacefully.

Exactly. Once Elder became the frontrunner in the polls it basically became Newsom(D) vs Elder(R) for governor of California and a Republican, especially one that is actually on the right, is going to win that battle. I mean Elder came out and said he would rollback all vaccine mandates, the branch covidians in the major cities weren't going to allow that to happen.

I want to like this, and it does almost make me feel fuzzy inside watching this, but I'm getting a "losing with dignity" vibe we are all too fucking familiar with. My identity crisis continues, blegh...
Its either that or commit seppuku.

At least he didn't pull a Hillary and didn't show up till the next day. Looking at the margin he got crushed by, he at least showed up.

Northern California is almost united in opposition to Newsom, I hope those lot get their state of Jefferson just like West Virginia did. A massive shift is needed basically at this point and its up to the people.

To be honest, the results and % margins up north-inland really do give the best support for a State of Jefferson since the early 20th Century:

What do you expect? "We're gonna push for audits so we can comb over any fucky votes like this hair gel using, Bateman-looking motherfucker does with his hair!"?

Low-key I wanted to see Larry say something like "Fuck you guys, you ruined the State, I'm going back to Ohio to recreate my small business as a true American!". Petty AF, but it would've been funny (I don't think election audits would work at all with numbers this big, unless the election fixing is that bad).

Most masochistic city in the country is a hell of a race.

Minneapolis
Los Angelos
San Francisco
Portland
Seattle
New York City
Chicago
Atlanta
Dallas

All shitholes that are facing the worst and most expensive living conditions they've ever had and are still voting for the people that caused them. It's baffling to think that so much niggercattle can fit so densely populated and happy on a city block.
You could definitely throw Austin in there.

Honestly, I think too many took a defeatist attitude of 'they're going to rig it anyway, so why bother?', so you had a double edged sword of both D and R turnout being depressed. On a larger scale, Elder and any other viable GOP candidate's base in Red California has atrophied into terminal irrelevance over the last 25 years; the endgame of the urban domination of rural areas. High Republican turnout and a stronger CAGOP ground game would not have mattered except to narrow the gap somewhat; anything that got out more CA Republicans to vote would've gotten out even more Democrats. The only shot Newsom had at being recalled was to make the election solely about him and leave the candidate field full of literal whos, which is probably why the CAGOP was so reticent to actually back a candidate. Elder was the strongest GOP candidate possible, but his very existence paradoxically doomed the election once he became the clear challenger to Newsom. The Democrats were not going to give up Newsom and back their own challenger, so anyone that rose to the top was going to be successfully framed as a Trump proxy, and this state swung massively against him in November. Until there is another major political realignment in America, California will be blue to the bitter end of the current party system.

I guess it means they get what they deserve.
