WATCH: Nicki Minaj fans protest CDC headquarters in Atlanta

Minaj first tweeted how the recent Met Gala wasn't worth her getting vaccinated, stating she would get the vaccine "once I feel I've done enough research" and that she was "working on that now."

Controversial American rapper Nikki Minaj expressed her COVID vaccine hesitancy in a series of tweets Thursday, leading to protests by several of her supporters outside the CDC headquarters in Atlanta.

"We are here because the CDC has been lying to us for too long," said one protestor to a reporter on the ground. "[Minaj] stood up and said 'I am questioning this vaccine,' and we should all question this vaccine."

When asked if he had seen Minaj's latest series of tweets, the man said, "I've seen all of them!"

"Fauci lied to me," the group could then be heard chanting, among other similar slogans.

Minaj's Twitter account was suspended following the Twitter tirade. She asked the public what "scared y'all so much" to justify getting her account disabled.

Minaj was praised by Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, while being slammed and derided by Joy Reid and Dr. Anthony Fauci, a public health official, for her views on the vaccine

She told her followers on Instagram Live to "Gather," adding: "So you guys, if you haven't already heard, I have been suspended from Twitter. Twitter. Twitter!"

A spokesperson for the CDC stated: "Throughout this pandemic, we have urged platforms, small and big, to take care in what they are conveying around COVID-19 vaccines because we know that information will be impactful on people's behavior."

The same person then recommended "not listening" to people on social media if they don't have a medical background.

Minaj added: "I'll never go back on Twitter because now it's starting to feel a little scary," given her vaccine hesitancy.

Reminder Nicki Minaj supports her pedo brother who raped his step-child and she also married a convicted sex offender that raped a girl at knifepoint.
I couldn't care less. Nicki is based for standing against globohomos even if she is technically part of that bullshit herself.

Y'all are always quick to preach about Azealia Banks even though she's just as stupid/trashy as Nicki, makes the same fucking music as Nicki, ect.

This is an IF. A large IF. In fact, if you've got a moment, it's a twelve-story IF with a magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24-hour portage, and an enourmous sign on the roof saying 'this is a very large If', this is true, then this could be the chance to break twitter.

Minaj moves to another platform, millions of followers tag along, as well as some celebs. Jack Dorsey literally shaking rn
