General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I have mentioned Soju ch. before, and posted several videos. Soju ch. makes short edited clips of Rushia. 2 weeks ago the channel got hacked, but thanks to some noise, the channel is back to the rightful owner and today the first video in two weeks is out. I liked the edits in this one, so I thought to share it out. Enjoy.

Is Sana located in Australia? With the current chip shortage and the usual Aussie debuff of everything usually costing more there, probably understandable if it's just for the sake of expedience.
I honestly don't blame ANYONE right now for doing prebuilts if they absolutely need a computer and can't just sit on components for a while. The GPU shortage is just killer, and I know that I only got my own GPU through sheer luck.

Fucking Asobi Asobase is the perfect alternative. The relationship between the three main characters channel peak Watson-Gura-Ina chaos energy:

eh, that's actually doing it a disservice, the slow builtup to the inevitable mindfuck is what makes it so good, jumping directly to the punchline (and spoiling it) is kinda sucks imo.
also anyone into rushia should watch it for hanako alone.

"Problematic". Yet another word I can never use again due to the intense rage that boils up inside me every time I hear it. Thanks Twitter.
"The doctor said if I don't have the tumor removed from my colon, it will become problematic pretty fast." - Someone not ready to wear a colostomy bag for the rest of their life

"Oh my god, I know EXACTLY how you feel." - A guy who got called a fag on the internet one time

People have biases and most of the folks here who laud Myth pretty much watched them way back when they debuted and seemed headed for disaster before each one of them slowly got comfortable over the following weeks/months, found their niche and just solidified themselves as entertaining streamers regardless of whether they're good or not at whatever game they're playing.

For individual picks, Ina made her mark for comfy art streams so you can go with any of the ones she has in her channel, Watson's Outer Wilds stream, Gura's privated Muse Dash streams (that you can still find re-uploaded in YouTube), Kiara's SIMS stream and Calli's TTRPG streams (just because she's totally clueless when it comes to modern game titles).

That being said, Myth is really more notorious for being just a bunch of dorks that are funny and endearing on their own but culminates in peak comedy when they collab, especially when they hit that jackpot on the particular game pick. Off the top of my head, I would recommend checking out:

- The Gura-Ame-Ina LEFT 4 DEAD Collab
- Gura and Ame's "A Way Out" Collab
- Gura and Ina's "Portal 2" Collab
- HoloMyth's Halloween "Secret Neighbor" group Collab

Totally fine if you stick with the ones you currently like and just blase on Myth. Oftentimes, you just tend to latch on to who you first discover and watch consistently. It's a fucking saturated vtuber market and everyone only has room for a handful. EN Gen2 is fine and just really haven't hit their stride yet.
I'd also like to add:

- Calli and Ame's Clubhouse 51 collab
- Gura-Ame-Ina Super Mario 3D World collab
- Calli and Kiara's Minecraft collab

A professional comedian giving a real life comedian some cheek
Is this part of that one TV Vtuber project? I kinda wanna see a full translation of this.

Also, if you missed the Selen/Qualia/Kanae collab, it was definitely an experience. They're also rerunning it next week, presumably since the Apex server has seemingly been taking a dump throughout the entire week, considering the RIG scrims and the Shibuya Hal custom all had massive technical issues.

This is a terrible joke, but I still laughed at it.

Rosemi is showing how sheltered she is over how much to tip the delivery person and what to do if it's a cute girl, an ugly man, or a girl with big breasts. She also wants Ange to call in.
EDIT: THE CAKE HAS ALCOHOL IN IT!
EDIT 2: SHE MISSED FOUR CALLS FROM THE PIZZA DELIVERY PERSON SAYING THAT HE IS HERE, BUT HE IS NOT THERE. WHERE IS PIZZA DELIVERY PERSON!? :story: Now Elira is speaking and Rosemi is a headless chicken.
EDIT 3: SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT YOUTUBE'S DARK MODE IS AND THE PIZZA GUY IS TROLLING HER!
EDIT 4: Elira left the voice chat and Rosemi is back.

The Internet Lumberjack took down Rosemi's birthday stream. :stress:
Now it's back up!
The police told the pizza guy to fuck off because he wasn't allowed to park where he parked!
EDIT: Rosemi has never played Splatoon, but the pizza is a success!

The Rosemi birthday saga almost felt like it was supposed to end with her revealing her face, she is truly naively chaotic. Those stories about her being approached by weird people as a kid (she literally took a ride from a stranger) don't seem far fetched anymore.

edit: whatever the highest tip is, the pizza driver should have got double.

Personally I think it's mostly of fans being disappointed of EN2 being primarily past Vtubers/Streamers. They were expecting Cover to hire talents outside of the Vtubing sphere much like EN1 or offer some talents or any new content outside of "I can stream". Baelz in particular is weird for me - I like her, but how do you show off her talent for "dancing" if they won't get 3D models until maybe next year?

Also, this group of girls were easier to guess because they did just hire Vtubers who have recently graduated, and Sana didn't go the big brain route of Ina during her debut to make her promotional artwork seem amateurish
