As for other non-Kiwi Farmers, the concern is that the unvaccinated will serve as a reservoir population constantly producing new and potentially worse variants, which as you mentioned, will probably create the need for more boosters. Most countries also just don't like dealing with public health crises, overcrowded ICUs and morgues, damaged economic output from so many people drowning in their own lung fluid, etc.

I want to respond to this, because this seems to be the crux of your issue - you reason and make decisions based on feelings. Stop doing that. If I only did what I "felt" was best for my body, I'd gorge myself of doritos, booze, and pot.

What you need to do is look, critically and without feelings, at the evidence out there. There are people who know more than you about these topics. They went to school and did well. They are smart. Listen to them. Read them. But don't form an opinion about what you read based on your feelings. Don't listen to your feelings. Your feelings are stupid.

Instead, read or listen to the material and see that it 1. makes logical sense, 2. is well-supported by experiments; and 3. isn't an outlier. If this is too hard for you cognitively, just listen to scientific experts like Fauci. This isn't hard.

My grandmother got the pfizer jab and ended up in the hospital with blood clots in her legs. Its September 2021, we have lived with COVID long enough to assess the risks and mortality rate to make our own decision if we want to get jabbed or not. My wife works in a nursing home, is unvaccinated and has to take care of 20 dementia ridden elderly on her own, they are heavily understaffed because our government made it a requirement for new caregivers to be jabbed, now they need 8 new nurses but nobody wants to wipe old peoples asses for a shitty salary and a forced jab. Caregiver that came before that mandate do not have to be yet or my wife would quit too.

Just know the end result is a collapse of infrastructure and likely being bought by foreign agents after the western economies tank.

I'm more or less in the same boat, in that if this were smallpox or polio, I'd be full mandate, but under current circumstances, while I find the decision incredibly stupid, I don't think this particular virus justifies forced vaccination, at least not for everyone.

I would be fine if it were like a normal dead virus vaccine like what's been around for decades, but this push just seems more like an excuse for Big Pharma to experiment on the population with a largely untested and potentially unsafe regimen of drug types instead of, you know, sticking to something that's been proven and far less likely to have unwanted side effects?
