Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It may have been tbh, i'm going off of memory from years back, but i thought Hitler was fighting us in france when Stalin made a move and instead of waiting for winter to piss off, he charged in quickly thinking the Brits were too beat to pose a threat, plus he wanted us to join him, emphasis because it stopped him from going mental on the brits.

It all fell apart when he sent his troops and tanks, ill-prepared for the cold, to freeze to death, while Stalin marched millions of men on foot across Europe.
The Soviets did violate the Molotov Ribbentrop pact by annexing a bit of land between Romania and the Ukraine that was agreed to be in Germany's sphere of influence, but Stalin wasn't going to make a move against Germany in 1941, his officer ranks were still reeling from the Great Purge and Finland had seemingly revealed the immediate post-purge Red Army to be a laughably incompetent mess. Germany struck because they needed the food and oil and thought the Soviets would simply collapse if they encircled and destroyed enough armies and took Moscow. Once they didn't Germany's many logistical deficiencies doomed them in the long run.

Hi, folks!

It's time for "No-Shit Time", with Uncle Joe.

Q: Uncle Joe, can the Chinese take Taiwan militarily?

A: No fucking way, Ike. The Chinese military has NO combat experience against a foreign power more recent than 1979.

Q: What about all those planes, and tanks, and sailors marching around in choreographed fashion on their carrier?

A: Just because you have the equipment and the dancing troops, that doesn't equate to any sort of combat experience, and especially experience in the combined-arms environment. BIG fucking difference between doing little landings on your own coast and launching a large seaborne invasion against defended shores, in the face of hostile enemy surface and sub-surface naval forces, and in the face of robust air and air defense assets. You just don't wing such an invasion. The Chinese simply don't have the experience to carry out a successful invasion of Taiwan.

Q: What about cyberwarfare?

A: Yes, that can happen, but the Chinese are likely to get worse than they give. Won't be just Taiwan fighting them in that realm, but the US, Japan, and maybe others.

Q: Uncle Joe, you keep saying China has problems we should be real fucking glad not to have. Care to mention them, again?

A: No sweat, pal. First is demographics. China is getting old before it gets rich. And let's not forget how the one-child policy is now coming back to bite China in the ass with fangs of steel. Remember, a ton of female fetuses were aborted, and some female infants killed. Net result is you have millions of horny guys with nearly ZERO chance of finding a wife. And you also have the potential for one, maybe two rice-winners to have to support themselves, any kids they may have, and as many as four in-laws. No shit. Second, China is not evenly developed. Go thirty miles, if that far, outside your cities and you've gone back fifty years. Not only that, but China's west is only patchily developed. Third, got problems feeding everyone the diet they want, which is a more Western-style diet, with a good deal of meat. China only has so much good farmland, and some of that's been ruined by various government fuckups. Still apparently dealing with African swine flu, which kills those oinkers dead, no can eat them. China buys a great deal of food, primarily meats/poultry and grains, from other countries. They buy a lot from the USA; that lets us have our hands around their nuts on the food situation. Fourth, as is now being seen the debt bubble is bursting. For a very long time, the Chinese economy has been humming along due to exports, and the Chinese Communist Party supporting failed state enterprises and businesses. In short, more of a house of cards than might be imagined.

Let's see how much debt China has. Total domestic debt is 280% of GDP. Add foreign debt and total debt overall is 290% of GDP. I ain't making this shit up, sports fans.

Yes, the USA has a pretty fucking huge national debt, but it's only about 130% of a much larger GDP.

And here's a ranking of world GDPs.

Just saying.

You should ask just what China is going to do when the debt bubble finally explodes for good, and when the credit and housing bubbles follow them. What happens when the world economy slows down and demand for Chinese goods softens? Gonna have a shitload of Chinese out of work, and as I understand it China has no unemployment compensation system or Social Security system as we know them. Not so good, people.

China also must spend a great deal of resources to stifle and quash dissent. The CCP is terrified of uncontrolled dissent. Got a lot of people censoring their various communications services in real-time, not to mention censoring publications, films, TV, etc. Got a lot of paramilitary troops out there, ready to suppress riots.

The Chinese need to basically watch all their borders. They don't get along with India too well, or with Vietnam. North Korea is a drain on China. Vietnam is problematical. Taiwan is a problem. Russia says some nice things but keeps China at something of an arm's length. Add their Uighur problem, including the concentration camps, and China has plenty on the plate in that regard.

If I could reduce things down to a sentence or two, I would say China hasn't the margin to survive major economic perturbations, which will bring a cascade of bad consequences. Am sure this shit keeps some people in Beijing awake nights. Not saying the USA is perfect - no way, but we overall are rather more, and more evenly developed, than China, we need not worry about hostile borders, and our military still has a lot of combat experience, including combined arms experience. We've simply developed much more margin to survive national-level fuckups. Our biggest problem right now is an incompetent and paralyzed regime in Washington. If we had competent, active leadership in Washington China would be much less of a concern.

Take some time, stop playing with yourselves, look into all this stuff. Good information, from a variety of sources, is your best defense against dumbassed mainstream media talking heads verbally masturbating. 👍

I thought it was Hitler who betrayed the pact first? What happened actually?
A mess. Hitler demanded Danzig because the place was already run by a Nazi party, the Poles told him to pound sand on general principles of him clearly not stopping there as demonstrated by what happened to the Czechs after the Sudetenland got handed over, the British and French went to war then proceeded to do absolutely fuck-all on the ground as Poland got slowly but surely eaten alive, then the Soviets took the eastern half with enough plausible deniability to allow the Brits and French to avoid declaring war on the USSR as well. Meanwhile things were getting extremely hot at sea with the opening stages of a commerce raiding campaign as well as limited bombing missions on England itself, and then cue shocked Pikachu faces on the French and Brits when Hitler decides to play hardball and start gobbling up all of Western Europe instead of suing for peace after securing his immediate aims. Following said ass-beating of everyone in the west, including the BEF leading to their humiliation at Dunkirk, an increasingly nervous Hitler tried to pretend their two nations could be good friends because the Royal Navy was gearing up to blockade Germany into submission a second time. Needless to say once the British were stuck on their island and utterly humiliated, told him he was now free to test the competency of the Kriegsmarine at his convenience. Which he did, and the pride of the fleet got sunk on her first deployment. As if Otto von Bismarck wasn't already spinning like a dervish in his grave...

What needs to be done to get back on track to bring back and uphold American values as a Country and on the World stage?

Is this even achievable?
In a word, yes.

If you haven't been throughout the country, this is a wonderful country. Get away from certain cities, and get away from the mainstream media, and you do find people not just upholding American values, but living those values.

"Woke" is NOT an American value, but treating everyone with courtesy and respect IS an American value. An American value is "the rising tide lifts all boats", NOT "tear down one group so another might be able to advance". An American value is that the decision to be vaccinated is an individual choice, not a mandate. An American value is to show the benefit of being vaccinated, and straightforwardly answering questions and addressing concerns, instead of demonizing the unvaccinated. An American value is to take no shit from oppressive assholes masquerading as "elected officials".

Wanting only LEGAL immigrants into the country is an American value. Welcoming LEGAL immigrants into the country is an American value. The more LEGALLY here, the merrier, keeps the country young compared to China and Japan.

Perhaps the ultimate American value is never accepting that wrong is right. Wrong has never been right, and shall never be right. Those who push the "wrong is right" bullshit are acting in direct opposition to American values, and merit only Americans' contempt.

Maybe just my flawed interpretation of the news but to me it seems like we're seeing the housing bubble popping first (right now) with debt and credit bubbles to follow. This image speaks for itself as to how bad the real estate situation is at the moment. The zerohedge article I pulled this from, too, is quite comprehensive and I'd recommend giving it a read.

If this is true, why did Hitler bother to invade Russia? Or France, for that matter?
France had taken territory from them that they wanted back, Hitler did not intend to subsume France more than that. Russia was planning to attack Germany, it was an open secret for months before Germany made the first move, if it could even be called that. It's not easy to say which side instigated conflict, as one of Hitler's primary goals, for which he had even asked for Britain's allegiance, was to put Russia in its place. Hitler (correctly) saw this as a good for all of Europe, yet (((for some reason))) the rest of Europe was convinced otherwise. Even before Hitler, Russia had threatened Europe for a long time and everybody knew it was a major force behind Bolshevism and related evils.

Damn, I actually missed this when I was reading the post.
With so much unclear, where Xi will ultimately draw the line to contain the fallout remains a mystery. While China’s top financial regulator has urged billionaire Evergrande founder Hui Ka Yan to solve his company’s debt problems, authorities have yet to spell out how they envision him backstopping hundreds of billions in liabilities, and even whether the government would allow a major debt restructuring or bankruptcy. Adding to the China's recent deleveraging campaign would lose credibility

Even senior officials at state-owned banks have told Bloomberg that they’re confused and still waiting for guidance on a long-term solution from top leaders in Beijing.
This is... quite telling. You'd think this far on into Evergrande's business falling apart the leadership would at least have a plan for what to do, right? Apparently not.

to add to this, I visited the West Coast (yea, that's right. and I do mean almost all of it, not just the cities) a few years back and other than the handful of leftist contacts, just about most everyone I met out on the street, on a bus, a diner or even a bar that tilted somewhat left has been far warmer and more hospitable than most places you will find in Europe IRL, let alone what you keep reading on the internet that gives you this false image of 'the proper, modern woke american'. so as paradoxically as it sounds, the US people are still very much so okay by me...they just tend to get swindled by whatever the media and internet tell them more easily, but that is as much a worldwide human problem as anything and it hasn't prevented the woke from staking their flag in places like Germany and France. but in terms of your people...I definitely have seen with my own eyes as opposed to over the internet things that give me a lot of hope that you'll all pull through one way or another, mark my words. it might not be the way it started, might not even be the same flag and gusto...but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

it's just this miasma of manufactured consent pumped out by your media + internet that hold that back from happening and enforce this completely fake leftist progressive slant that has nothing to do with how things stand on the ground. so long as it persists, your people (and others around the world) will keep believing this bullshit is truth. but when it all collapses (and something this volatile WILL collapse sooner rather than later, no matter how many dollars and blind faith is put into it), things will revert back to a baser level. I just hope that level is not so base as to make too many of you suffer too much or get too many of you killed.

Hitler went after Stalin because Stalin broke their pact. Hitler DID NOT want to fight on two fronts, which is why he started the pact in the first place. Bum rushing France was easy and the rest of the continent fell. He became unstuck with Britain because he wanted us on his side. He wanted only to bomb us in to submission so that we would join him. IIRC he believed the brits were original aryans and descendents of vikings, making a combination of the countries an unstoppable world force. He would have been right if he hadn't smoked all the jews and approached things diplomatically instead of charging through to Poland.

No, Hitler ALWAYS intended to backstab Stalin; Stalin was just a fucking retard trusting Hitler not to stab him in the back, in part because Stalin had PURGED IE MURDERED the bulk of his generals who were actually COMPETENT and replaced them with sycophants who refused to try and tell Hitler not to trust Hitler with a ten foot pole.
