Plagued COVID Conspiracy Theorists and other idiots - This is not a political thunderdome or gay slapfight thread.

I know you will ignore this because it completely destroys your argument (all of you anti-vax retards do), but there are other types of covid vaccines that aren't mRNA. For example, the JJ shot is viral vector, which has been in use for 45 years.
I'm well aware of the J&J but sadly it's not as available as the other two that are being pushed much harder for some strange reason. Also not anti-vax just pro-choice on something that isn't abortion. (the horror!) But people are stupid and basing their decision to take it or not on who's in the Oval Office or what their religion tells them, not their own particular medical history or anything. It's not necessarily right for everyone either from a health perspective, some folks have allergies and other things that could be exacerbated by substances in the syringe. It is on the questionnaire about chicken eggs or whatever, but you get the idea.

I can't disagree with the sentiment. All I'm saying is pretty much everyone doesn't know what they're talking about and some actual scientific literacy would do the world wonders, much like the previous dude posting a study that disproves his point. Science changes constantly. What's a theory last year becomes a nothingburger the next... but I'd say there's enough evidence that the vaccine reduces your risk of dying from covid significantly, and the side effects to small portions of the population would have happened from the Vax, or from a natural infection.
Scientific literacy? Dude. Our public school system is centered around whether or not high school quarterback Chadley Johnson makes it into the NFL, not around whether or not he can understand basic arithmetic or biology. I'm talking about America of course, so I can't speak on behalf of other school systems in foreign countries.

Besides, whether or not I decide to take the jab, given the information that I have access to, is nobody's God damn business but my own. Take that as you will.

I just don't want the jerkoffs we refer to as "politicians" trying to get us to play "Papers, Please" every time we want to buy a bar of soap at the local corner grocery store.

I was supposed to go, but I never went. I was too busy getting blowies under the bleachers from the local sluts while enjoying myself a Marlboro on class time. Thank God I got to enjoy myself back then.

I would be fine if it were like a normal dead virus vaccine like what's been around for decades, but this push just seems more like an excuse for Big Pharma to experiment on the population with a largely untested and potentially unsafe regimen of drug types instead of, you know, sticking to something that's been proven and far less likely to have unwanted side effects?

The behavior on their part is just screaming "if something bad happens fuck 'em"

They're just taking advantage of the EUA to push whatever they want out there at this point. After all, you can't sue them if it fucks you up, so why not?
J+j is viral vector rather than mrna
So when the fuck exactly does it qualify as tested? We're at over five billion doses. Does it have to be six gorillion? 18 trillion? When the fuck is it "tested?"
Mmr causes autism, don't you know?
Also, would you consider a "one" time vaccine to be more of an "unsafe regimen of drug types" in comparison to all the anti-COVID measures being proposed as alternatives to taking it?
I felt a little off the day or two after I got vaxxed, much better than shitting yourself because you took ivermectin. All I needed was a big hoodie, plenty of tea and an ibuprofen. And the whole fucking point of vaccination isn't that its a magic shot that gives you magic immunity with zero side effects, it's more like boot camp for your immune system. Sometimes it sucks a little, but the whole point is training for war in an environment that's ultimately safe.

Maybe it's been around for a while, but anything involving manipulation of genetic material isn't like a Lego set where you can just stick together whatever you want and have it work.

You should probably be nervous about covid then, because randomly sticking genetic material together like broken Lego blocks is literally what covid (and some other viruses) do lol. I guess you missed the previous post about it:

What could abnormal syncytia do if they proliferate? While the published reports on COVID-19 discuss large syncytia, as these cells are the most noticeable products of cell fusion due to their size and numerous nuclei (thus often called multinucleated giant cells), they are not the only outcome of cell fusion. Cell fusion can produce binuclear or trinuclear cells, which are often more abundant in experimental systems than large syncytia but could go unnoticed in human tissues or not attributed to cell fusion because distinguishing them reliably from binuclear cells produced by failed mitosis is difficult or impossible with available tools (Gast et al., 2018 ). A syncytium, especially if it has only two or three nuclei, can also enter mitosis and produce mononuclear daughter cells, an outcome that might contribute to the pool of dysmorphic cells in the lung, another hallmark of COVID-19 (Bussani et al., 2020). Multipolar mitoses that are common in these mitoses are prone to produce aneuploid cells with chromosomal aberrations, adding another abnormal feature to the offspring of cell fusion (Duelli ets al., 2007), a phenomenon that may be particular relevant to patients with neoplastic lesions. Fusion of proliferating cells introduces additional abnormalities by combining cells that are at different phases of the cell cycle. Because nuclei united in one cell can progress through the cell cycle independently, one nucleus can force the others to enter mitosis prematurely, causing fragmentation of their chromatin in a phenomenon known as chromatin pulverization (reviewed in (Stevens et al., 2010)). The resulting fragments can incorporate into the chromatin of the hybrid (Pantelias et al., 2019). The common features of chromosomal aberrations in cell hybrids and cancer cells (Ogle et al., 2004; Duelli et al., 2007; Delespaul et al., 2019; Lartigue et al., 2020) along with the shared clonal heterogeneity of cancers and neoplastic cell hybrids, which enables their evolution (Miroshnychenko et al., 2021) has provided support for a long standing model that cell fusion is involved in cancer development, progression, recurrence, dormancy, and acquired drug resistance (reviewed in: (Duelli and Lazebnik, 2003; Parris, 2013; Shabo et al., 2020)). This model has been supported by recent reports of cell hybrids in human cancers (Gast et al., 2018; Laberge et al., 2019) and by multiple observations in animal models (reviewed in (Duelli and Lazebnik, 2003; Pawelek and Chakraborty, 2008; Noubissi and Ogle, 2016)). Whether any neoplastic hybrids found in humans are made by viral fusogens, as it has been suggested (Duelli et al., 2005; Parris, 2005; Duelli and Lazebnik, 2007), is yet to be learned.

Great post, thank you.
Unfortunately it has several words with more than one syllable so doubt the target audience will read it.

Beating up on people who ain't been jabbed, regardless of reasons, don't really help anything. Mostly just entrenches positions.
Agreed but, since simply talking to them about this 9 times out of 10 doesn't work, most in this thread have decided to laugh at them from a distance and make fun of whoever picks a fight.

People who like to laugh at covid prayer warriors are not necessarily people who support mandates, plenty of us want people to be free to choose their own death on a ventilator but also want to mock them in peace.

But sure, now you mention it, anti-fatty mandates might work as well. I’d prefer free easy-to-get weight loss surgery though because that actually works, unlike diet changes which don’t do much for most people who are already fat.

My quirky alternative lifestyle is supported all through July by your mom, so it doesn't bother me when corporations withdraw their support.

(Also, there are 30 days in June. I know you guys are bad at math, but come on, there is a poem they teach you in grade school about it)
Well, you do have to allow a little extra time to hang up all the rainbow banners and inflate the million balloons going onto the parade floats. Of course they'll probably end up popped and all over the street along with the other mountains of trash these kinds of people leave behind when they run off to their mandatory "save the earth/trees/Mexican Staring Frogs of Sri Lanka" rallies. But yeah I know, 30 days in June, sometimes the months just bleed into each other though.

Honestly if you want to do something about the fatties I say just tax fast food. It would help a little but it would still not harm personal choice too much. Mandates are a terrible idea, but of course that's probably just the libertarian in me speaking.

Honestly it's kind of hard to believe that the prayer warrior types are still around, it's a nice break from mocking progtard "OMG SO QUIRKY" types if nothing else. They mostly disappeared in the 2000s I think?

You should probably be nervous about covid then, because randomly sticking genetic material together like broken Lego blocks is literally what covid (and some other viruses) do lol. I guess you missed the previous post about it:

Well that clears it all up. I guess my dreams of becoming a real life Spider-Man aren't so preposterous after all

C'mere little buddy, get in dat CHAMBAH!

Great post, thank you.

The American public school system rarely teaches most of us words with more than three syllables, and that's assuming any of us gave a shit about class.

So your body, your choice, except women's uteruses? Lol.

Yeah, you're anti-vax. You can deny it, but you are against the vaccine, which makes you an anti-vaxtard.

Great post, thank you.

Bad little virus men go in body, wave gun, make little cells join together make big cell. Big cells sad, many die. Big sick cells break in half, make baby cells. Baby cells also sick, big problems. Many more problems in body, crops will fail.

(I am not sure why I turned into a Russian gangster when trying to convert it to retard-speak but I tried)

Just checking, but your response to being called ignorant is to say "Yeah, I'm retarded but I know better than the educated majority". Damn, that's straight confidence.

Beating up on people who ain't been jabbed, regardless of reasons, don't really help anything. Mostly just entrenches positions.
We've seen this brought up time and time again, and it's as asinine as the last time it gets brought up. If being hyper at risk of catching a more deadly version isnt enough, if the economic downturn isnt enough, if the climbing death toll isnt enough, if fucking dying over a preventable virus isnt enough, then why the absolute fuck would being mocked be the silver bullet, the magic treatment, that will help things? It won't, and we both know that. The only thing it's going to help is sooth their ego, because they're either never going to get it, will only get it if they catch covid and recover, or they die. That's the three endings that have been happening since the vaccines came out, and nature is helping them pick option 3.

Well I don't have a uterus, so I wouldn't know anything about it. But abortions should be for free for everyone who wants one, on demand. In fact, anyone with an IQ under 85 should be required to have abortions.

We would suffer a loss of potential lolcows but the burden on the taxpayer is worth the trade-off. Also, I'm against MANDATES not the vaccine. Let people make their own decisions.

I've been to enough "educational" institutions in my lifetime to know that a good portion of them are shit. At least in my own country.

If they actually cared about the futures of their graduates they would actually try to give us a computer programming or industrial arts program that isn't complete ass, but no, gotta fund the football team once more.

Also, confidence gets you laid, you should try it sometime.

As I said, it's best to just let people make their own decisions with the information that is available to them.

I find the idea of a libertarian complaining government institutions didn't educate them good enough kind of funny.

Sacrifices are for dumb commies who hate freedom, besides I got Covid already and the power of prayer did its job ✝️⛪🙏

If you believe in Jebis Cripes the way I do, then you too will be safe from this evil Satanic communist virus. I'll pray for you to find the most righteous path.
I'm no commie and I'm no friend, the ball is in your court on if you wish to join us in society. At the end of the day I do not care what happens, all i know is it doesn't effect me.

Anti-vaxxers must get furious when somebody says, "Have a good day!" after handing them their drive-thru order.

"Are you trying to FORCE me to experience MY day a certain way?! I want to eat these McNuggets ANGRILY, you damn commies!"

In the United States, you can't sue manufacturers over basically any vaccine, not since 1986.
You can, but first you have to reject whatever compensation the VICP offers. Most people don't do that. VICP is free money. They have a table of injuries that are presumptive payouts, and will consider anything else you put before them for covered vaccines. You don't have to prove the manufacturer is at fault. They even pay for your lawyer.

There have been some lawsuits against Merck for MMR and Gardasil. I don't know how they turned out.

J+j is viral vector rather than mrna
J+J killed a bunch of women with blood clots, though. And it's less effective against COVID.
