Plagued COVID Conspiracy Theorists and other idiots - This is not a political thunderdome or gay slapfight thread.

Don't blame the public school system for being a lazy dumbass.
In America they usually drop the standards because a certain 13% won't pull its own weight and the rest of us have to suffer by not learning calculus in high school or some shit like that.

I find the idea of a libertarian complaining government institutions didn't educate them good enough kind of funny.
No amount of funding can get the staff at certain institutions to give a shit. Besides, there's a lot of different schools of thought on libertarianism. I've been a Democrat, a Republican, a Communist, and a few other things in my lifetime. I've just come to the conclusion that they're all shit and libertarianism, while often impractical in the real world, does have its good qualities.

I gotta admit, the concept of public education is a sound theory but in practice, at least the ham handed way it's done today, it just doesn't deliver the intended results. But let's leave my criticisms of the Prussian model of education for another day.
I'm no commie and I'm no friend, the ball is in your court on if you wish to join us in society. At the end of the day I do not care what happens, all i know is it doesn't effect me.
To be serious for a moment, why would I want to be a part of society at all, the way it is now? Why would anybody? I just hate these self-righteous pricks who think that they're somehow saving the world if we just "do what we're told."

Man these people are currently simping for Nicki Minaj of all people

Her music sucks ass and she's a retard but at least she's not Cardi B. Maybe we should ask Tekashi 6ix9ine what his thoughts are on it.
Anti-vaxxers must get furious when somebody says, "Have a good day!" after handing them their drive-thru order.

"Are you trying to FORCE me to experience MY day a certain way?! I want to eat these McNuggets ANGRILY, you damn commies!"
It's that undying urge to jump up and down and scream "I bleed Red White and Blue" that exists in the hearts of every true American.

How am I a self righteous prick I took an experimental vaccine I was not 100% comfortable with so that I can help protect the people around me, while pricks like you promoted the virus by spewing nonsense and pro rights shit. If you think that attitude did not kill people you are delusional.

If America really is the so called "land of the free" I don't think mandates have a place, at least not on personal health decisions. Presidents are not dictators and should not behave as such.

If people don't want to take it nobody should force them to. End of story.

But America is a democracy and right now its an issue people are for and against. Generously I'll call it a 70%/30% split and its not in your favor. I guess Military drafts and conscription were also issues. Fact of the matter is when there is a crisis your rights do not exist.

Henceforth, the push for an "eternal crisis."

Corona is Gen Z's 9/11 if you're going to put it that way.

If this becomes endemic which it most likely will I give it another year or two before they give up.
Or when the general population realizes that it's pointless to just bend over and take it up the ass whenever requested, but I've kind of lost hope on that.

I still hate the "look at me im a hero" douchebags on social media, which is one of many reasons I never go there anymore. I can understand being skeptical of the latest Big Pharma cash grab, but to be serious for a moment, just washing your hands and 6 feet distance from unknown persons isn't something the average Joe can manage, I doubt that.
Except, you know there's actually published proof COVID can cause mass destruction whereas Iraq...
I never said the comparison was perfect. So when do we invade China for actually USING a weapon of mass destruction upon the world?

J+J killed a bunch of women with blood clots, though. And it's less effective against COVID.
1 in a million rate is far lower than the number of people covid has killed. I know you anti-vax spazes are terrible at math, but surely 1 in 1000 is more often than 1 in 1,000,000, even to your spaz brain, correct?

So what makes you more qualified than doctors and scientists to answer as to a vaccine's safety?

Look im gonna be real with you, If this becomes endemic and will float around for centuries this will be the most deadly disease humans have to deal with since it kills and spreads at a higher rate than the flu and will exist perpetually. But its ok to try and allow this to happen without a fight right?

spent today resting after a long dentist appointment and i come back to this autism bombshell, holy fucking shit. i don't get why anyone bothers coming into this thread with the intent of arguing. all of us are (presumably, hopefully) adults who've made up our minds a long time ago. it'd be just as pointless if i went into one of the covid-19 denier threads and picked slapfights there.

the best thing you can do for yourself is accept the fact that you're probably not going to sway the other person to your side. is it annoying, frustrating, maybe even upsetting? sure, but there's no point in spinning your wheels either.

I mean anyone going to Kiwifarms for medical advice has to be retarded anyway

I'm pretty sure corona will go away in a couple years at worst. There will always be another pandemic or a pack of killer bees, or North Korea getting a rocket capable of reaching Los Angeles, or whatever the fuck the TV people want us to be afraid of. The Spanish Flu, while particularly bad worldwide, lasted a few years but is gone now. It's not the God damn apocalypse...yet.

Doesn't mean that countries have to adopt authoritarian principles every time a new disease rears its ugly head. Because while diseases come and go, it's best not to lose sight of the reasons that this country was started in the first place. 🇺🇸

Dude, this thread was plagued long before any of the current population knew of its existence. You might see an occasional fair point amongst the wreckage but don't hedge your bets on it.

You'd probably get troll replies anyway.

"How do I gain 20 lbs. of muscles before football season"

"Eat lots of McDonald's and ice cream scoops of lard lulz"

That's this whole thread summed up.

All I read is "I am lazy and can't be bothered to learn things on my own." This is on you, hoss.

When you have to use the words "Pretty Sure" it seems like a gamble not worth taking considering the risk/reward. It will never be an apocalypse like in the movies but a slow kill off of people over a long stretch of time. Also if this pandemic happened in 1918 they would be fucked because unlike now they did not have the required treatment and medical science to treat this out side of basic oxygen masks.

Learning is the scariest word in the American language, worse than communism. Besides it's not like teachers encourage you to learn about things that aren't in "the curriculum."

God forbid little Johnny find out about Benjamin Franklin's sex life in a book not approved by the county school board. That could result in a scandal.

You'd think it would run out of potential hosts eventually, one way or another. The reason we don't see regular outbreaks of Ebola or something outside of maybe a few villages is because its hosts don't last long, aside from being much more obvious.
Covid is never going away.
Sounds like a dream come true for Big Pharma and Big Government alike. A match made in Hell

I don't argue with tinfoil hatters. I'm pretty open about my skepticism regarding the jab and it is entirely rooted in my own irrational fears.

You sir, are a faggot.

The issue with that concept is that the way the pandemic is being dealt with is extremely staggered and uneven in its approach. Places like africa and south america are lagging behind at this projected rate years behind in the vaccine program so they can keep cooking up varients that bypass current and revised vaccines, in short we will most likely be one step behind unless we decide to fully vaccinate and lock the boarders until the shithole countries catch up.

it's also more difficult to catch than a respiratory disease. if i'm remembering correctly you can only get ebola if it comes into direct contact with mucosal membranes (i.e the eyes, nose, and mouth) or an open wound.

also, a disease can only burn itself out if the mortality rate is ridiculously high to the point where affected parties are dropping dead in less than a week, with little to no chance of asymptomatic spread or recovery.
