Some initial impressions I had while reading through this thing:
- I love how he describes sexually harassing women as a "a mistake he's made in multiple instances" like he's trying to avoid taking responsibility for his actions. "It's just a mistake bro, those women I sexually harassed? It was an accident man!"
- It's not his fault that he sexually harassed women, they were leading him on by giving mixed signals, AND he was drunk! How's a brother supposed to control himself when women be throwin' out they mixed signals while he gettin' his drank on?
- "These are mistakes I've made but I'm not where I should be mentally so it's not my fault". Did he just admit to being retarded?
- He says he's taking responsibility for his actions at the end there, but the first three paragraphs are just excuses for why he's not responsible? Idk man this is some gross shit. Why is smash bros full of sexual harassment? Is it because the whole community is made of autists? Are autists just inclined to sexually harassing people?


What's the tally on smash players who've been ousted as sex offenders now? Are we in the triple digits yet?

Unrelated but my personal favorite autist weirdos are in the 40k community, they're a really special breed.

Bunch of nerdy guys who stay indoors playing vidya too long in their parent's basements lack social skills. It's similar to the people who spent most of their lives in the can then have trouble adjusting to society when they get out. They're institutionalized. Most of them probably will never fully integrate into society.

This is the linked "anti-Black content" Sakurai made in the past. Dee Jay as Diddy Kong, because Diddy Kong's side special is similar to Dee Jay's fighting style, Donkey Kong as Mr Sandman, because both characters heavily utilize punches in their attacks and showed up in Punch Out, and Villager as Tac, because both characters utilize bags/nets to capture items, can steal items, and have similar color schemes. The Villager also didn't have dark skin during development until just before the game's release, so there's zero chance it's intentional anyway.

Naturally, nobody on the actual tweet cares as not a single person made that connection. ResetEra is furious, though. The whole thread is a salt goldmine, with the responses ranging from "Sakurai is literally video game Hitler" to "we must re-educate this unenlightened foreigner for his ignorance of America." Here's some highlights.

Because it's ResetEra, though, it got locked because dozens of people started reporting each other for disagreeing with them. Maybe it'll be unlocked, and I certainly hope so.

Probably more salt than ever before if it is revealed that not only is this the last fighter's pass (because some fans for some reason thought that wasn't the case), but this was also the final smash game ever.

I've noticed this in other gaming communities as well. When theres a lack of content/activity thats when drama starts ramping up or gaining more attention and traction. I don't know if Hax's autism will ever stop but people will definitely give much less of a shit when the last ultimate character is revealed and nick smash comes out.
