I'd say the three countries of the Balkans, that could be argued to have done so (Macedonia, Montenegro - didn't have much involvement in it tbh - and Slovenia - only had a 10 days war where it BTFOd all the local govt. forces and secured all border crossings, before Serbia realized there's no ethnic strings to tug on its territory, unlike Croatia that was the much bigger concern) definitely wound up more stable in the coming decades than all the rest in the long run. maybe with the exception of Croatia, who got backed by NATO and retained its ginormous fucking coastline for its tourism, but they paid the price for it internally imho, even if they weren't shy about ethnically cleansing their Serbs.

I'm actually good with that, other than some people getting exceptions. Fuck you getting to tell people what they can do on their land, especially when it means it's harder for people to get housing in a state that desperately needs it.

A developer or unknown conglomerate of investors converting a piece of property they recently purchased into a densely developed shit stained subsidized apartment complex is not a victory for not "telling people what to do with their property". This is a horrible change to zoning.

yes, and I think that the deep global state, to coin a term - in particular the people who run internationally coordinated science, tech, and educational bureaucracies - were immediately terrified that the leak was of some much more serious shit, and that's the missing piece as to why the lockdowns were so batshittedly draconian and why the psyops got turned up to 11. Developers only build “luxury“ apartment buildings with limited parking. Leftists now complain about rental prices without understanding they did this to themselves and are pushing for rent control to cap increases at 3% per year, which will drive out any developers still building in the city.
