It’s the same reason nobody in the online left will debate competent right wingers except for Steve. But even he will blacklist people if he thinks they’re too challenging (AltHype). At the end of the day these people know right wing critiques of “the system” are more accurate and persuasive than their left wing counterparts, hence why there’s such a push to get everyone who makes those critiques de personed.

Unless he has commentary buried somewhere within his hours of Darkest Dungeon, I'm not aware of Destiny saying much about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez partying it up with the extravagant elite, but it puzzles me as to why his fans (at least in his subreddit) are playing defense for the celebrity politician while dunking on Hasan and his seven-figure house.

He Retweeted Lauren Southern statement on it. He previous said "eat the rich" is a terrible statement that only hurts the left. At the very least, Destiny finds the AOC statement to be pandering and not helpful to the left, while also not being controversial.

It's not even clear to me what Destiny means in agreeing that the Met Gala incident "isn't controversial". Is he saying that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's sloganeering is not at all bold and transgressive to the Met Gala because it just plays into the dominant political fashion (hurr) of the event and its attendees? Or is he saying that Ocasio-Cortez's apparent reveling in the elite lifestyle isn't deserving of ridicule in similar fashion to Hasan? Further retweets by Lauren Sourthern seem to indicate that she means the former, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Destiny is on the same page.

"Eat the rich" is a non-threat to the rich. It's so palatable that rich people use it. It's not that deep bro.

for anybody else who can't stand destinys orbiter "Rem" aka "the bathboi", a pompous upper middle class self-important mommys boy philosopher who runs about playing "philosophy police" and he gets rekt by a more chad type of philosophy student here;

The vaccine was FDA stamped one month ago and has only existed for roughly a year - of course that's perfectly fine and you better not dare to even question it. But a pill which received its FDA approval letter in 1998 and features on the WHO Essential Medicine List is "experimental." Amazing how the narrative can shift on a dime. Seeing his "research process" really brings things into perspective. Take things out of context and if that still doesn't make them false, gymnastics your way into it being false somehow. Him trying to say that Joe Rogan was implying Ivermectin was good for covid because of the Nobel prize(or that it won the prize for Covid) was an Olympics worthy leap.

Also, how little does Destiny know about these things, half the things he wrote down as "suspicious claims" in his notepad are basically public knowledge if you've been keeping track of things and anyone with some stake in the conversation would know them to be true or false on first glance. At least his hobo aesthetic is progressing nicely.
