I poked around the Rover site a bit and it seems NO ONE has a bad review. Its all wonderful and great. My bet is the reviews are moderated and only positive ones are posted. How does she have only 4 reviews after being at this for so long?

  1. I suspect the client expected only one dog sitter.
  2. That wasn't meant literally, it was food within reasonable limitations. I'd consider it a breach of contract and sue if the roofer I hired to fix the roof tiles a severe wind blew loose decided to drink my 30yro whisky after I told him to "drink whatever".
  3. Why is Don Pablo Gordo even there in the first place? The rates for these "dog sitting gigs" are already shit, now the money they make is worth even less.

That’s why she charges so little I think - lowest rate for overnight dog sitting in the area, from what I saw. Basically using the clients house as a free hotel, with food thrown in [edit - and drugs] Bit of an adventure, probably quite exciting if you’re a teenager, and it’s a resourceful move if you’re homeless.

Total Russian roulette for the client but that’s the other side of these sketchy apps. Looks like they didn’t in fact trash the last place, judging by the review.

She was showing for overnight stays ($50) a few weeks ago. Maybe that’s status is linked to a booking calendar and if she’s already booked it doesn’t show.

I was holding out for Jarrod and his mycoculture project to start the "Tranchers do shrooms and go batshit" arc, but once again Kindness comes through.

If the homeowner legitimately left out some magic mushrooms for Kindness and Bonnie to eat, I have to wonder if they're actually a Kiwi looking to amp up the mess.

Those people did not have to invite you to eat their food. They were damn kind though and offered it. That's the real fucking meaning of kindness by the way, because I don't think you get it.

Then they rifle through their personal shit? Get high on their drugs? Where everyone damn well knows that wasn't their intention by extending you a finger.

Of course though they'll turn around and take your entire fucking hand.

Any lingering amount of compassion for Kindless is utterly snuffed out. Snip a finger, gone.

I damn well hope the owners find out and they kick her off the platform. Even the dogs she dog sits deserve fucking better.

Hippies can be very generous but can also flip to massively uptight, hard to know what they’d think seeing the tweets. The tone is certainly “we’re taking full advantage and having a great time, suckers”.

Side effects range from random vomiting to full on psychosis / jumping out of 2nd floor windows believing you’re a bat.
