I guess a bit of an update: Penny posted a video on the Tranch instagram talking about the mutual aid thing they're doing.

Most of what he goes into is stuff we already know (Amazon and GFM), but there are a few interesting details in there.

(Allow some paraphrasing here)
1:15: So what we do is, when we hit 5000 dollars, we're a 501c so we don't pay taxes on that, what we do is that we put the money in an envelope, we put it as cash, and we deliver it to them.

1:54: The first lady that we're helping out is in Denver, her mom's from Pine Ridge, and she's having trouble with rent, so we're helping out, hand her an envelope full of cash.

2:25 He also says that they'll be doing monthly dropoffs at the Rez of the goods they collect.

The one lead we seem to have at the moment is this mysterious half-Indian lady that lives in Denver whose mom is from PR. I remember Penny mentioning on Twitter that a family friend of his was a Lakota woman who told him stories about life in Pine Ridge, so if there's any bridge to the Rez, it'd be through her I imagine (if she even exists).

Maybe KF has rotten my brain too much, but for some reason I feel that this mysterious lady we know nothing about (lives in Denver, friend of the Tranch, will get an absurd amount of money from them) might be a troon, maybe I'm completely wrong here.

Second thing is, the Tranch itself doesn't need to pay taxes given that they're a charity, but what about the people they're handing the money to? I can understand putting the money in envelopes for the people in Pine Ridge, bank services can be lacking in deep rural areas, but what about the friend in Denver of all places? Tax avoidance question mark?

Why the fuck is someone like Kevin even there? Kevin brings a net negative to the Tranch with zero skills, no willingness to work, and expensive upkeep demands in terms of lifestyle and power consumption.
The only thing King Tranny brings to the Tranch is visibility which may bring them some extra gibs. Maybe. But, even if it does bring in extra cash, Kevin probably more than consooms it via food, toys, and electricity.

The only thing I could think of listening to that was that spongebob meme.

We will just take the grift money, stuff it in a envelope, and leave it under the door mat. It's so bizarre, why is the Tranch a necessary middleman? How exactly are they wetting their beaks?

I'm not an accountant and I have zero knowledge of non-profit regulations and practices, but it seems like a horrible terrific plan to say all of that on video and then post it for the world to see.

It would be spectacular if the feds started looking into the taxes, then noticed all the gun shit and find something fucky wucky on the form 4473 for their firearms. Probably find a DIAS laying around there somewhere and you know that they will probably try to play it off as a wallhanger. Hey tranchers, ever do any research into "solvent traps"?

LMAO, so it's less ~help the poor, struggling people of Pine Ridge~ and more 'pay the rent bill for some troon friend of Penny's who's related to someone who lives on the rez'. Feel like they should make that a touch more clear in their GFM, since that's a pretty big departure from what anyone donating thinks is happening with their money.

What if he does retire soon? I wouldn't blame him, I think he should have packed it up before it even started but boy will it sting when he does. My real question is if he's going to move elsewhere with his slaves and get a job: I think Kevin would go out just a bit more if he had suburn/city life where he could meet his troon friends daily or on weekends (and maybe a room for his toys). Jen is a nonentity.

Actually, my real question is thus: can or would the ranch survive without him? Is there someone to step up to the plate of failure who won't turn the ranch on it's head in the name of salvaging it (see: anyone with sense) or Bonnie and Alyssa, America's favorite useless leeches? Or would he just sell/give away all the animals, send eviction notices, and sell the property with Sky?
How can he, though?

I can't remember if Bonnie and Sky are the only co-owners (with Bonnie's mother acting as guarantor) or if Penny is also co-owner. If he doesn't have a stake he could peace out in theory. He would have to abandon Kevin and Jen and royally fuck over Sky, but he might be at the point of doing that.

However... where would he go? I imagine any savings he had are thoroughly depleted having been ploughed into the Tranch - how would he afford motel rooms, let alone an apartment? He hasn't been employed more than casually in years, and he's too poorly to do manual labour now. He probably cannot legally access the Tranch funds if they're all tied up in shared accounts and a charity. With the truck broken, he doesn't really have transport to leave for good, even if he had somewhere to go.

If he is a co-owner he's even more fucked, because he's on the hook for mortgage payments. The Tranch is undoubtedly in negative equity because the place is ruined and worth less than they paid for it, so they can't just sell up.

I also don't know if Penny is maybe too sentimental to resign his role as Mxtrxss. Jen would probably be fine assuming you dropped him off at a sewage treatment plant, but Kevin? Kevin is utterly hopeless. He's effectively unemployable (in the sense that no sane person would hire him) and probably has no money (that inheritance must be depleted by now and he constantly has to e-beg so he's not solvent even if it isn't), and certainly has nowhere to go (Wedge is too money grubbing and homeless to put Kevin up, Neck is living out of motels, he's basically cut ties with Rioley, he exhausted any good will with Kindness and Bonnie by not taking their side, and I doubt his twitter followers would want to help him beyond a KoFi donation). You'd also need a commercial moving company to transport Kevin's autistic plastic collection (expensive out in the boondocks) and the autistic screeching that would result from telling Kevin to abandon them is clearly something Penny has issues saying no to.

Jarrod would be ok, he's still a strapping young man (as in he still has intact genitals, hasn't ruined his body with hormones and seems to be somewhat physically active). Sky would be fucked due to prior mortgage issues, although he's also an intact male and an absolute unit so could maybe go bankrupt and work as a farmhand. The field serfs would probably be fine as they're fairly transient.

There's not much way of raising money. Alpacas are a money sink that nobody wants to buy (which is why they got 100 of them as a free donation from another ranch that was abandoning them), chickens and ducks aren't worth very much, the flock of sheep is probably in no fit state to sell. Maybe they could sell their guns, but the /k/ommandos in this thread seem to suggest they're mostly overpriced meme weapons that have been poorly handled and upkept. I think they have some agricultural vehicles but I doubt they've been paid off, and the only serviceable trailer belongs to Jarrod.

So what's a girl like Penny to do? All he can do is continue to try to grift donations. I think some of the depression posting is because he's realising he's trapped.

Sky would be fucked due to prior mortgage issues, although he's also an intact male and an absolute unit so could maybe go bankrupt and work as a farmhand.
This is the only part of your analysis that I would call into question. Sky has nursing credentials and professional experience. A bankruptcy would hurt him, but he could return to a city and find work very easily, especially right now.

Everything else you have said seems pretty much spot on to me.

I’m continuing to get “season finale” vibes.

The fall out with Bonnie, and having to rebuff him from coming back to the ranch with Kindness might have been quite tough on Penny. That did require real leadership. After such watershed moments, it’s natural to do some reflection and consider what it is you’re the leader of.

The TUR is clearly completely unsustainable from a financial standpoint, they have huge outgoings even if you just consider animal feed and propane for heating. All their twitters are just continual e-begging now. Maybe it’s a final big push to get through the winter? That can’t be good for the soul for someone who thinks of himself as a rugged individualist.

Money aside, is it even serving the purpose he set it up for? Yes, the alpaca that have been rescued have had their lives extended. But they’re not exactly running free in a beautiful meadow enjoying life. Can the same be said for the troons in the ranch? From what we see of Kevin, he may as well be in a windowless dorm room. Are they doing anything worthwhile - is there an output to all of the consumption? I’ve seen no sign of any of the agricultural or other business ideas even come close to getting off the ground.

Penny’s also not well, can’t fix the truck, can’t do odd jobs to earn money, structures are falling apart and everyone around him except maybe Sky is useless.
Tenacity is great, but the snap, when it comes, is all the more powerful.
Sounds like someone had a moment of clarity while piling up the frozen alpaca corpses with the Kubota.

How can he, though?
Good news, he isn't co-owner of the house and he'd never leave his eunuchs behind unlike his kids. The 3 could pack up and move any time Kevin gets his transformers fully packed (lol). Unfortunately, I can't say whether he's labeled as a co-owner of the business or "charity" so he might be boned on that. More as it happens, I guess.
He probably cannot legally access the Tranch funds if they're all tied up in shared accounts and a charity
This implies they manage their finances in a way that makes sense and the IRS wouldn't have to detangle. Considering that this IS the Tranch, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of money was split between Sky and Penny right now with only some in a shared account, if they even have a shared account. It could be lopsided as fuck with only one person having access to something because they have the foresight of a pickle.

Funny you mention that, cause apparently they just went ahead and dropped off the money. The weirdest thing about it though is that they're nowhere near reaching $5000 in donations.

Untitled.pngsdg.png

The tranch has nowhere near enough money to cover the missing 2000 dollars, so the concept of spending the money on predictable, transparent $5000 bundles has completely gone out the window in under 12 hours, the money's getting spent however Penny sees fit. The friend is getting at most two months' worth of rent, likely all gone in a month.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they skimmed off some of the goods they receive from Amazon (particularly the solar panel lights and hydroponics stuff)
