I know they're annoying as shit but how trivial would it be to add webp support to the image attachments? Most OSs are now supporting them natively now and even adobe can export to webp now.

If you really want an un-fun job, you could probably save a fair bit of diskspace and bandwidth converting all images to them but I don't think it's worth the effort. Just be nice to be able to embed them easier as Google and a lot of article sites and shot offer them by default.

Edit also are you testing avatar shapes or does xenforo just hate Firefox? I'm seeing thumb versions in square and circle form in some places, and square and octogon (I assume a broken circle) in some threads. If you're experementing I like the squares but circles could work on profiles.

Edit is there a reason for the negative reactions? Just because webp is cancer, because it's been asked before and I'm a faggot, a combo of the two or something else?

Humbly requesting for the login page that appears when trying to view a thread that requires an account to view to remember the URL the user was trying to access and redirect to that URL after login succeeds. At the moment the user is redirected to the home page.

I am in bbcode. Wondering if there is a specific thing I can do to change all of the texts to default.

If someone can assist it would be really appreciated, and Null finally will be satisfied with my post. Also have edited my post of all errors (too many spoilers and spelling errors), but have not saved the post yet. Again help would be appreciated. So by default I mean Quattrocento

The [ ] icon in the menu will toggle you back out of bbcode mode and give you the rich text editor. If that's not what you mean then I'm not sure I understood your question.

That still means extra steps. And what if there's copy-pasting a lot of text and there's 8)s in it? Or a URL with an 8)?

(and BTW site software auto-converts those to that "Chris Chan" emoticon even if one is in BBcode and not rich text mode)

I have to agree, though it's not just extra steps, it's that people don't know better. I often see posts with inadvertent 8)s in them, for example with dates (Zooey Zephyr was born in 1988).

Null did that intentionally. I believe it's because he thought people were putting too much importance on reactions. It's anyone's guess if he plans to ever roll it back.

editing text or adding quoted text, then editing anywhere in the middle of said text completely nukes quote formatting and newlines fairly reliably, blending everything into one big unformatted pile of text. Spaces are still preserved.

EDIT: doesn't seem to require any special trick to make it happen actually, shortly after the animation finishes for opening the edit box, the formatting gets nuked as soon as you tap on the box to start typing

Recently, my posts have been getting eaten more when I click to view another page. Kind of annoying and I'm not sure if there's any work arounds.
