Mr. Greer told Florida that he has witnesses such as Steve back in Utah, and that moving the case back to Utah would ease his burden in bringing forth his eager witnesses.
Some of it has to be about costs at this point, doesn't it. Hardin asks for the case to be moved to Florida because that's where he practices and perhaps where Null will settle when he returns to the US. The only cost involved, will be if Greer has to give evidence, he'd have to fly from Nevada or do it via computer.
Then Greer claims he has all of these witnesses who all live in Utah and so it will cost them a shedload of time and money. Court believes Greer so sends it back to Utah -- hey presto, witnesses all disappear.
It looks like Greer lied about his witnesses to deliberately run up the cost of the case for Null by forcing him to unnecessarily try the case in Utah at much greater expense. If Greer wasn't being truthful, he should have to foot the bill for those unnecessary costs.
I suppose the other bit is demonstrating repeatedly to the court that Greer is a lying disingenuous cunt and they need to stop taking anything he says seriously unless its backed by hard evidence.
