Oman's Foreign Ministry confirms that the US and the Houthis have reached a ceasefire mediated by the Sultanate.

Following recent discussions and contacts conducted by the Sultanate of Oman with the United States and the relevant authorities in Sana'a, in the Republic of Yemen, with the aim of de-escalation, efforts have resulted in a ceasefire agreement between the two sides. In the future, neither side will target the other, including American vessels, in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, ensuring freedom of navigation and the smooth flow of international commercial shipping. The Sultanate of Oman expresses its gratitude to both parties for their constructive approach that led to this welcome outcome, and hopes that it will lead to further progress on many regional issues towards achieving justice, peace, and prosperity for all.

the houthi say:

Our military operations in support of Gaza will not cease until the aggression against Gaza stops and the blockade on its residents is lifted, allowing the entry of food, medicine, and fuel.︀︀︀︀As for our attacks on the US, they fall within the context of the right to self-defense. If it halts its attacks on us, we will halt our attacks on it. This position also applies to Britain.︀︀︀︀We are committed to our operations in support of Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices it costs us. If the US persists with its operations in support of the Zionist entity, even if they are immoral, the only way to stop the war and avoid escalation is for the US to pressure Netanyahu to respect the terms of the ceasefire agreement. At that point, we will halt all our military operations in the Red Sea and deep within the Zionist entity.

>The Supreme Court will allow the Trump administration's transgender military ban to take effect.

It turns out that if you actually examine Quantum Transsexuality, the wave form collapses and it must either be an identity you can choose or a mental disorder -- and either one of those can be discriminated against without any form of ethical issues.

OK the DoJ has finally thrown down the gauntlet at Roberts and his Supreme Court

Trump Solicitor General John Sauer has filed for an emergency petition for a hearing about the ruling by a yet another Maryland Judge who has ruled that DODGE has no rights to access any information from the Social Security database and are barred from making any changes to it. The DoJ appeal was of course denyed for insane reasons by the Maryland Appeals Court the same day it was filed btw so now the path to SCOTUS is open.

https://www.supremecourt.gov/Docket...38_SSA v. AFSCME stay final with appendix.pdf

"Judge Ellen Hollander of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland issued a preliminary injunction last month to block DOGE from accessing certain SSA data after a group of labor unions and retirees sued the Trump administration. They claimed that DOGE was violating privacy laws and creating information security risks by accessing that data."

This is finally a step too far as this judge is plainly and openly stepping over the Executive's Branch's authority to run the Federal Government by laying out standards and procedures that DODGE must adhere to and demands that DODGE report said actions to her court first for approval and thus the DoJ has the hammer it needs to go after these activist judges. There is no real way for Roberts to avoid doing...something this time. The big question is what will the SCOTUS do?

Sauer is really laying out the hammer here trying to get the SCOTUS to make a final decioson on how far the judical authority goes when it comes to interfering in the Executive Branches actions. If he gets a good ruling it will smack down every other Democratic attempt to stymie Trump's EO's via the courts. If he gets deyned then we know that the Judicary are in fact the Highest Power in the US and then we get a real Constitutional Crisis as everyone knows now that unelected US Judicary is the real leader of the Federal Government.

This is going to be a baaaaad week for Roberts, one way or the other he and his court has to make a call.

Will they issue another wishy washy ruling that says nothing and leaves the problem hanging? Probably, Robers has proven to be really relucantant to smack down these activists judges and issue any real ruling that can't be used by both sides as a "win". I highly doubt this court will any ruling that will make either side happy.

Please God, Alit and Thomas put the fire to Roberts and make him push out an actual ruling one way or the other.
