The whole point of him and the republicans doing this is to ensure college is only for wealthy and the peasants have to go to trade school or drive trucks for a living. This is going to oversaturate the job market with trades people who will probably have to do low wage work.

White House scrapped event with Venezuela detainee due to warrants
The White House ultimately decided against hosting a reception for an Air Force veteran released last week from a Venezuelan prison due to the man’s lengthy criminal record and outstanding warrants, two people familiar with the situation told Semafor.

Joseph St. Clair did four tours in Afghanistan and was detained in Venezuela in November. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Ric Grenell brought St. Clair back to the US last week via a private plane, in what marks the seventh American held in Venezuela to be released back to the country since Trump took office.

St. Clair has been arrested multiple times in Texas, including for drug possession and driving while intoxicated, according to arrest records. One of the people told Semafor that administration officials made the decision in part due to the Secret Service warning that they’d have to arrest St. Clair if he showed up.

The White House has previously hosted receptions for returned citizens who had been detained unlawfully overseas: American schoolteacher Marc Fogel visited the White House after being released from Russia in February. Two people told Semafor there were discussions within the administration about hosting such a reception for St. Clair, but there were questions about his status because of the active warrants. Ultimately, officials decided it was not optically or logistically feasible to have him come to the White House.

The White House and the Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Yep. I’d be more open to tariffs if it went directly into funding infrastructure to build the light and heavy industry here. But it was never going to, he just wanted tariffs to fund more of the government so he can cut tax rates of his billionaire butt buddies even further. It’s a purely regressive tax: everyone has to pitch in and the people who feel it the least are the ones who have the most. Wasn’t he supposed to be for Main Street?

There are millions who will keep cutting their noses off to spite their face but his approval rating being in the shitter means millions more have figured out what this fat faggot is all about. I can’t think of a single industry that has benefited from Trump’s second term thus far. But at least some libtards got owned so it was all worth it.

Crypto has done well ever since Trump started openly accepting bribes through his shitcoin with no consequences. AI companies are also doing better than they would have under Kamala. There's even a dystopian ban on states regulating AI and other forms of automated decision-making that was slipped into the tax bill currently before the senate.

Your average Trumpoid, of course, will look away from his family to the MAGA flag hanging on the wall and use his last breath thanking Trump for making America great before dying from a metasticized skin carcinoma that couldn't be treated because UnitedHealthCare.ai turned him down for no particular reason.
