I agree. I don't know how many of you guys remember when Austin Hargrave, better known as PeanutButterGamer of NormalBoots, tried to resurrect the group but failed each time. The latest attempt being a few years ago. Without Jontron most people don't care.
The same can be said with Channel Awesome dissidents. Times have changed and with it better reviewers have taken over. If there are people who still like Doug and his gang; good for them. Not my taste but I have nothing against Doug or his fans. Once in a while I check in and see what Doug is doing. Maybe there would be a good review or two. However, with the Change the Channel clique time has passed them and they're missrable. Like who would want to watch the most depressing people react to bad movies. At least Doug is happy doing what he's doing.

Well that's just the thing. Normalboots without Jontron is a waste of time. Escapist without Yahtzee, even hbomberguy admits it's worthless but if so then wtf is the point of buying the name other than for shits and giggles. And Channel Awesome without Doug? Even the other people who had more viewers than they did. Spoony's career is throroughly dead. Angry Joe is busy doing his own thing successfully for years now. Nostalgia Chick is failing along forward without making dumb skit reviews of movies. It would be CA again but without any one for them to leech views from.
Even Stuttering Craig a while back was talking about buying back the screwattack name.. for what though? It's not like AVGN would tie himself back to that. And what's his name buying Roosterteeth after it was finally dead, he's not going to be able to get the gang back together to get anything done.

And not just that but they seem to forget that Doug was the draw to the site. The rest of them just kinda got views by osmosis as people would check out this creator or that one.
A "Retard Station" or whatever the name would be wouldn't work because they don't have enough interest to drive it. I mean Armzy doesn't bring in views. Hagan doesn't. E-Rod doesn't but they all think that this will be their ticket back on top.
