I'm gonna describe one scenario, and you guys are gonna tell me whether it fits a bunch of highschool girls or adult men.

There's this group, a little clique, who suddenly begin to hang out with "Person 1" and the reason they do it is because "Person 1" is constantly talking bad about "Person 2", whom "Person 1" dislikes because "Person 2" often makes fun of the former.
So the clique and "Person 1" begin this new friendship, but to anyone who's not retarded it becomes clear that the clique are constantly making fun of "Person 1", using them as a punchline. Meanwhile, "Person 1" is constantly trying to hang out with the clique, sending them messages late at night.
After a few months, the clique gets tired of "Person 1" and it is revealed that they were always gassing "Person 1" and treating them as their personal pet retard. Keep in mind, "Person 1" was told numerous times about this and they always denied it, saying the clique was never going to turn on them and everyone who said so was jealous. Also, during all this, "Person 1" was constantly trying to get back at all the people who ever wronged them, constantly talking about how "everyone likes me now". After this break up, "Person 1" invites "Person 2" to talk about the clique, and how they were never friends and how "Person 1" always knew this was going to happen and "Person 1" was in fact the one always pulling the strings.

Once again, I ask: am I talking about a bunch of highschool girls or adult men?

You're a fucking faggot, Phil. All you know in life is gossip and drama because you're too much of a pussy to ever confront people IRL and the one time someone confronted you you cried like a little sissy bitch.
You've spent more time talking about LTG's image the past few months on stream than you've ever done about your wife in general.

Stuff like this makes me wonder if it's just cope or if it's a sign of how oblivious he is to how normal people live.

If nothing else, I don't think he's intentionally lying about how hard he works. I think he's so lazy and incompetent that he genuinely believes that he works hard.

Its changed twice in the last month or so. A little while ago he said his only friends were in Seattle, the ones that tell him about all the DRUGGIES everywhere. Then just recently he said his "friends back home".

Another time in the last few months he said his friends were "in the FGC".

All these times, it was implied they were his only friends.

It's both.

It's a cope because he has no friends. But he also thinks every streamer is making money like he is (he said the other day that 10,000 people are watching restreams of him, which is way, way high). He definitely believes he works hard by sitting on a stream bitching for 8 hours a day.

You might find this hard to believe but this is why a lot of people started watching him to begin with.
Now we have all kinda been pigeonholed into having to "enjoy" the insane blabbing midwit side of him.

Phil has said he's always in contact with neighbors, they're always texting and helping him. I think this became his story after lying about the wedding and he can't leave for a day because Jasper Kitty will go insane.

But, friends he's been consistent that he has no time for them and doesn't need them because Kat is his best friend soulmaid for years.

Not sure what's more grating, the fact he is saying his "people who enjoy themselves laughing at me are gay little girls" take is le based or that it COOKS! His cut up stream video thumbnails, and especially the fact he is copy catting people's clip channels run by someone not the streamer, are some of the cringiest things on the internet. Phil's penultimate avenue for telling tall tales about himself in third person.

Considering the definitely not terminally online Philip is always good for adopting trends for people half his age, years after they were trendy, we are likely less than 3 years out from a 45 or 46 year old Phil starting to use "skibidi".
