Oh my god he's still on about
this same fucking stew from August I covered earlier.
I remember your post from back then but I thought this was a different cooking episode he had with winky and mald is just obsessed with stews because throwing shit into an instant pot makes him look accomplished in front of his IRL friend.
Even in that video he mentions a different figure used(in august, he states that he used 1/3 instead of 1/5th of the ingredients and created 15 bowls instead of 20), but still sticks to his story of "yeah this can feed 10 meals". And thanks to your video and a bit of
autistic nitpicking ahead, I've figured out what Mald is doing wrong in these "food lectures"
It's not rocket science that cooking is cheaper than fast food, but knowing now that this stew is what he presented for the 4th of july gathering with winky and their partners, then it's clear mald is egregiously comparing a per person serving of a single dish as only a component of the full meal/course for a holiday feast they hosted for winky and his partner to a full fast food meal(hence him bringing up $20 combo meals at
2:40m in the first clip of my post prior) in his attempt to larp as a frugal shopper.
What I'm trying to say above is that Winky and his partner obviously had more than just this stew for dinner, so Mald using the stew as a single meal template is already a false equivalence, and one that most people wouldn't make because they'd have experience actually budgeting meal plans before.
And I've just come to the conclusion that he only brings up the stew because he and shaye likely doordashed the rest of the meals, and only the stew is homemade. Because instant pot is all he knows.
It probably has a bit more than 200 cals because of it mostly having sausage as the solids, it seems. That amount of onion is pathetic.
1/10th of the stew, because that's mald's cooking advice.
There's plenty of actual viable rebuttals to these weak-ass arguments, but all Jason can do is flounder about repeating his rehearsed number-laden talking points he thought about months ago and petulantly saying "No, No!" to fill in the rest when his audience isn't convinced.
This is another indicator of his incompetence and ignorance when it comes to frugal cooking and budgeting(the very shit he is "trying to lecture his audience" about). Dude is so inexperienced that he literally always defaults to instant pot stews because that's all he knows.
I chopped out the cooking content and ran it through an ffmpeg script that cut out a shitload (like 10 minutes) of dead air.

The butt buddy in this case is Winky/Winkypotamus, who has been touched on earlier in the thread. Apparently Winky is a disgusting doordash degenerate and daddy Jason is swooping in to fix him.
Quoting your post from september to bring up what mald says at
11:08m of that clip: "I only pay $100-$150 of food a month for 2 people, I don't spend alot of money on food".
I think this is a technicality that he can back up as true, because this is actually what Mald contributes, while Shaye buys takeaways/luxuries(with Mald's account). Because he clearly doesn't know jackshit about frugal budgeting.
Tbh, if some kid actually followed Mald's plans, they'd quickly realise it's stupid, but it's still hilarious that Mald could be so out of touch.
