Reddit jannies managed to grab some unwanted spotlight this week when a popular user of r/Art was banned, and then got the trademark snotty "fluent in sarcasm" treatment when he asked why, quickly escalating into a history wipe and sitewide ban.

In Star Wars-adjacent news, it seems that British martial artist Ray Park, best known for playing Darth Maul in 1999's The Phantom Menace (as well as Toad in 2000's X-Men) has been an under-the-radar skitzocow for the fan community for years, starting with him posting revenge porn of his estranged wife way back in 2020. He's had periodic drunken Instagram meltdowns ever since, usually directed as the wife, Lisa, and their two young children.

Apparently Lisa finally left with the kids recently. Ray's been on a longer-average-bender for the past week and the rants have gotten more incoherent. He's posted his wife's phone number multiple times, alluded to cheating with her on her sister and doing cocaine on set, hit himself in the face, smashed up his TV, obliquely threatened to kill himself if his wife and/or children didn't contact him, and plenty more.

Just today, 2 prototypes for Fallout New Vegas have been dumped from xbox dev kits that have been found, one is dated a month before final release, the other is around a day before release.
heres a small change log that is from a game prototype hosting website HiddenPalace.org
  • Legal screen uses animated logos instead of static logos in the final release.
  • Many extra props throughout the entire game that were removed for performance reasons.
  • Prospector Saloon sign in Goodsprings is a completely different design to final.
  • None of the robots have any filter in their voice recording, and instead are completely unfiltered.
  • Many characters use text to speech lines, and many lines when repeated for the second time are presented in text to speech.
  • Many lines do not match the subtitle presented, or are alternate takes when compared to final.
  • Mr. House uses an early design on the terminal monitor in the Lucky 38.
  • The Strip and many of the buildings within contain far more NPCs than the final game.
  • Many unused files, all 800+ of Ulysses' lines are present in the game files as well as his textures and models.
  • Many test rooms removed from the final version of the game that can be accessed with the debug console, which is not usually present on the console version of the game.

More, than a year ago Scott Shafer (poor man's CoffeeZilla) made an exposé about Caleb Hammer (financial audit youtuber) allegedly being a homosexual sexpest.
This stirred the pot enough to damage Hammer's reputation, although some of Scott's argument were weak and was disputed by Caleb and his orbiters/friends.
Scott now made another video going through more allegations and how Caleb started to delete tweets, emails and videos about his degenerate behavior.
Shafer especially goes through an allegation of Caleb's trying to solicit an underage boy for sex and recording sex without consent.
Is this another fall from grace and the rise of Caleb Hammer as a lolcow?

Solar radiation storms have long been the subject of intense speculation by lonely cat ladies as well as the scientific community - it has long been theorized and occasionally proven that solar radiation storms can not only cause chaos for a few computers but could even result in civilization-ending-tier events such as a society-wide bitflip (essentially a solar storm so large that every single computer on earth would flip 0s for 1s causing power stations to explode and the internet failing to carry large amounts of furry porn anymore).

Even though such events have generally remained in the realm of science fiction and apocalypse porn due to their perceived rarity it appears that Airbus has had some trouble with them on their A320 aircraft - to be specific they've issued a panic recall of the aircraft because a flight experienced a solar radiation storm that corrupted its internal flight computer and left the pilot being unable to... pilot.

In the case report that triggered the recall, while the plane didn't literally fall out of the sky, it did randomly drop a significant amount of altitude which is pretty much the same thing.

This has naturally caused a bit of a problem with international travel as airlines scramble to update the plane's software:
