I'm kind of surprised there are only about 3-5 people in this thread that have this perspective. I'm not even a liberal, but do you guys really watch the video and think she deserved to be shot? She's driving like 5mph. He shoots her three times. Even if you agree with the very first shot, was he trying to triple tap her or what? She was even white and the consensus is still because she was on the opposite side of the political spectrum, "oh well, glad she's dead" lol. But this is the Thunderdome, I don't know why I expected sensibility.

Whether she was intentionally trying to run the agent over or just panicked and 'tried to get away' is a moot point. What matters is whether she was intentionally obstructing ICE agents with her car. The leftist media is trying to spin this as she was just confused at finding herself at the wrong place at the wrong time, as though she were just pulling out of the driveway on that street. If she were instead using her car to try and block traffic, then she got what she had coming.

no one hates white women more than a white male conservative. they're not even just misogynists, it's literally race hate. it's been years in the making but from the adoption of left-coded, seemingly innocuous slurs like "Karen" all the way through to events like this one, you see the extent of the conservative mind rape. they truly can't help themselves.
 
Tim Walz closed the schools in Minneapolis because he's trying to convince everyone that ICE is going to break into schools or attack kids going to and from school. So, what do you think is safer:

A. Keeping kids in class so they aren't out on the streets.

B. Closing school and then encouraging kids to go confront ICE.

This is Minneapolis, so the schools closed and teachers and staff were taking kids out to protest. It's all about the show, and now they can say kids are getting pepper-sprayed and Jesse Ventura can make a speech about it.

Because the past years have contributed to the sentiment. Trump got shot and everyone was "I wish he hadn't miss", Kirk got shot for doing nothing and we got dancing people on TikTok who didn't even know who he was but they just heard "some right winger got shot" and they decided it was time to dance.

Add that to the long list of examples of them laughing when bad things have happened to people for not respecting pronouns or not wanting their kids experimented on.

Did she deserve to get shot? No, but you also can't keep rolling the dice and expect no consequences. Every decision up to where she got shot was her own, there were probably a dozen stopping points on the way, she took none.

The funny part about the people coming here and defending her probably put much more thought into it than any person on the left would've had it been any of those users. If something bad happened to you and they found out that you posted on KF, they'd be dancing on your grave too.

This dumb Minneapolis bitch interfered with federal law enforcement, then clearly disobeyed a lawful order to leave her vehicle, then tried to escape in a vehicle that she is licensed by the state to drive, which undeniably had an officer right in front of it given the windshield bullet hole—where’s the fucking mystery??

You're right. But I'd like to think the people here aren't as stupid and as callous as the people out there. I'm just surprised and a little disappointed to see more of the same bull shit on the side I stand with.

It’s truly shocking to some to see white woken face repercussions for their actions, for some here.

Supreme Court 9-0 has ruled that deadly force is evaluated as one continuous encounter, not a shot by shot evaluation.

I don’t think this woman deserved to die. But she is dead because of her own decisions. If a law-enforcement officer attempts to stop you and you choose to drive away, you are knowingly escalating to a potentially lethal situation.

You don’t get to gamble with force and then pretend the outcome was unforeseeable.

This has already been covered so many times it should just become a screenshot people can easily drop, but:

Intentionally driving a car at someone is intent to kill, even if you're going slowly. A car can crush just as easily as it can bludgeon.

Nobody who knows anything about guns would ever shoot just once, because there is no convenient video game sound effect when someone dies. The goal is to stop the threat, not score a frag and conserve ammo.

And here's a pre-emptive one. Just because he was out of the way by the time he fired the last two shots means nothing. This woman had already, from his perspective, demonstrated her willingness and desire to kill. She was an active threat. He had no reason to believe she would have missed him, then changed her mind about wanting to murder an ICE agent. Once someone crosses that line, they don't un-cross it unless made to.

Even if she was just a retard and this was just a tragic misunderstanding, the agent was absolutely justified in perceiving her as a rampaging lunatic.

The victim was walking in the lot on Merrick Road in Copiague, Suffolk County Saturday afternoon when she was struck by a car that was backing out of a parking space.

Police say a black Chevy Silverado was backing out of a residential driveway, so a tow truck driver could get to a broken-down vehicle. A female pedestrian was talking to the tow driver in regard to her vehicle being broke down.

The driver of the Chevy did not see the pedestrian as he was backing out of the driveway.

The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

A New Jersey man backing out of his driveway on Friday struck and killed a pedestrian walking by at the time, police announced over the weekend.

The Union Police Department said the 62-year-old driver was reversing out of his driveway on Spruce Street around 3 p.m. when he struck the person. The man was driving a 2004 black Chevrolet Suburban.

First responders arrived and transported the pedestrian to University Hospital, but her injuries proved to be fatal.

Vance backed out into the road, and Ericsson followed him in his agency vehicle. Ericsson pulled him over, Woodward said.

Preliminary information indicates that Holly Springs Police officers were conducting a traffic stop for speeding just after 11 p.m. on June 16 at the intersection of Harmony Lake Drive and Hickory Road. At some point during the traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle, a man later identified as Ansy Dolce, 29, of Cherokee County, attempted to escape in his car. Dolce dragged Holly Springs Police Officer Joe Burson, age 25, down Hickory Road until the vehicle crashed. During the incident, Burson fired shots at Dolce.
Other officers on scene rendered aid to both Officer Burson and Dolce.
Dolce was taken to North Fulton Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officer Burson was transported to Kennestone Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On January 23, 2020, Thyne responded to a call about two people smoking marijuana in a car near the Monitor Merrimac Overlook. Officer Thyne and another police officer found Green and a woman in the car.

Body camera video showed the officers repeatedly asking, and then ordering Green to get out of the car. The officers tried to pull him out of the vehicle when he did not move, as described in the video.

The car took off shortly after. The vehicle dragged Thyne along with it, and she died after the car crashed into a tree.

As Officer Vitale rested his arm in the opened car window, Papadinis rolled up the window and accelerated the vehicle. As three passengers pleaded with Papadinis to stop, he continued on at speeds of over 40 miles per hour, dragging Officer Vitale more than 1,000 feet and ultimately slamming him into a street sign. The 14-year police veteran died a few hours later from the injuries he sustained. He was 42 years old.

The shooting agent in Minneapolis saw another officer with his arm in the window of a car while the driver was attempting to flee.

Officer Mark Larson succumbed to injuries sustained on January 25th, 1993, when he was intentionally dragged by a vehicle during a traffic stop.

Officer Larson had been flagged down by a female who informed that a man had attempted to force her into the woods. She pointed out the vehicle, which Officer Larson then stopped. While Officer Larson was speaking to the driver, the man grabbed Officer Larson's arm as he accelerated from the scene. Officer Larson was able draw his weapon and shot the subject multiple times. The man then rammed Officer Larson into a guardrail, near the intersection of Edgewood Avenue & Avenue B, breaking both of his legs and nearly severing his arm before he was thrown into a ditch.
