The sjws I spar with elsewhere employ the kind of thinking that is "You are mentally ill. Therefore, everything you say and do is mentally ill, amd therefore, has no value. I don't care about anything you have to say."
Basically, by not sharing their viewpoints, anything I write they go "Reeeeeeeeeeeeee raaaaaaaaaaaacist!" because I pointed out a perp was a gangbanger.

This responder has it backwards. In the analogy, the ally is the abused, not the abuser. So the responder is arguing that this person shouldn't be an ally.

Someone noticed that Twitter is withholding the @ANP14 (American Nazi Party) account in Germany and France, based on stricter laws no doubt, and now everyone does what they do best, collectively losing their shit. Nawh, not because Twitter can and does single out / restrict individual accounts (well duh) but because Twitter doesn´t ban everyone they call a (Neo-) Nazi, real and imagined.

African Americans were heavily overrepresented on the jury and it still didn't matter.

Germany and France, as well as a lot of European nations, have pretty strict laws about Nazism. It's no surprise Twitter would restrict the accounts over there - better safe than sorry, I guess.

Something I've noticed about SJW types -- and no doubt others have too -- is that they may think they know the motives of the people they're criticizing, and claim they're more complicated than they really are. It's like they want to be psychologists.

For example, one may argue that an otherkin's lack of functioning in society is indicative of otherkin being a mental illness. The SJW may claim the one making the argument has complex motives like ableism, "othering," "marginalizing," and being unwilling to be helpful.

I've really come to loathe the term "ally" the way people like the responder use it. If I have LGBT friends and I support same sex marriage, I do it because I'm a friend and I'd want to see them happy. Not because I'm trying to "be on the right side of history" or to do some other kind of virtue-signalling.

Being an "ally" implies that you aren't seen as a friend, but rather as a tool. I want to be a friend, and friendships shouldn't be conditional. If they are, then something is wrong with this picture.

You're a white guy and say you think all white males suck? Alright then, is this the part where I'm supposed to give you a medal? It doesn't change the fact that you are white. What is a good reason for hanging out with people who only evangelize you with their talking points? At the end of the day, they either tolerate you at best, or hate your guts at worst. I wouldn't stick around so I can be patted on the head like a dog or used as a ventriloquist's dummy. I am a human being with individual agency, thoughts, and feelings. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but that term has really come to grate on me.

I don't even WANT pats on the back for supporting civil rights (for whatever, gay marriage, trans rights, being against discrimination, helping the poor, etc). I think that should be default position, you know, just treat people as you want to be treated. But I WOULD like not to be given guilt trips for existing. I'm not trying to hurt you -- would you please not automatically assume that I'm out to get you?

And please don't assume that I've never suffered from anything in my life, or known anyone who has. Everyone's had their crosses to bear.

It's so condescending every time I make a post somewhere that disagrees with the narrative, and all I receive in response is some video titled "how to be a good ally" or whatever, because obviously I'm only saying what I'm saying out of ignorance and need to be shown the error of my ways. Bitch, I am not trying to be your ally right now, if I was I wouldn't be fucking challenging you in the first place.

There's always some asshole there to tell you how to be an ally. Or an accomplice. Because an ally is still not good enough. This is from the Assigned Male page a while back. These people exist.

I think that's symptomatic of this growing myopia these kinds of people have. Most of them have no idea what the world outside America is like, and thus they don't realize how awful some parts of the world are. They simply can't process the real, tangible suffering that happens in certain countries and they can only relate it to the """oppression""" they've experienced.
