Never write about rapes ever. Even if you're a good writer and can make it so that it accentuates your work.


Geoff, if you need to constantly remind yourself that rape is bad and that merely seeing fictional depictions of it causes you to go into a 'tism storm about how rape is bad well...I mean I'm not saying you're hiding something, I'm just saying most people don't think about it as much as you do.

I think in Geff's mind it's in the apology, otherwise I have no idea how he thinks SAO's is 'restrained'.

I'm comparing the scenes right now, and GS is quick and undetailed. SAO has the rapist dive onto the bed and lick the victims.

And feel them up, and possibly go down on them. And displays it all in loving detail and at length, while Goblin Slayer was just a few scenes cut short and shown in quick succession. Neither scene is particularly graphic, though I would say that SAO feels way more exploitative.

How in the fuck is this restrained and okay since apologies were made to the actresses? If he had moral outrage at Goblin Slayer for implied rape that was not an attempt at fanservice, how could he think this is okay?
