I have to give Lou credit for finding literally the only thing (the ability to send SMS messages by proxy from an associated iPhone) that an iPad can do that his souped-up Galaxy Tab can't do, and grifting off of that. I honestly didn't think he had that kind of ingenuity and initiative in him. Hats off to my boy. There's hope for him yet. :semperfidelis:

Well, if "sex work is work" and is so "empowering", maybe Lou should sign himself up for it.

Someone should also point out to him that his grift might count towards "Household Income" which may very well make their combined income "too high" to qualify for food stamps. He might want to watch how publicly he advertises his grift campaign.

I also cut my teeth in the Munchies thread, and it's like thousands of miracles happened at once and Clawshrimpy had a baby with Kelly Ronahan. "Doctor, can't you fix my diabetes so that I can go back to stuffing my gullet?" Maybe he's genuinely too dim to have any sort of intellectual understanding of his predicament, but we can hope for the eventual spergout when he realizes that he has two choices: change or die. In my mind, he's no different from a tweaker. He's engaging in a behavior that will certainly kill him because he's too weak to stop, with only a thin veil of denial between him and the realization that he is slowly committing suicide, all while losing tooth after tooth.

No way Louie makes it to 45. No way. I think his posts since his diagnosis prove that he has no intention making the changes required for him to live a healthy life with Diabetes. He comes home and what does he eat? Saghetti-Os and grilled cheese sandwiches with ketchup, all of it loaded with carbs and sugar. If he does make it out of this current medical predicament having only lost a bone then it'll only be a matter of time before something else lands him in the hospital with more dire consequences, and it will all be downhill from there. His health is in decline now and it's only going to get worse. He will take longer and longer to recover, until one day the damage will be too great. And I predict that it happens before he turns 45.

I've said it many times before but I'll say it again. Mom always says ,"The rotten live the longest". Lou is literally rotten. Lou is destroying himself with everything he can but that wickedness will keep him alive. What's sad is he'll somehow someway outlive his mother.

Fate is cruel like that.

The only reason to buy something like this to 'future proof' is if you think you'll be half blind in like a week. I don't think that's what diabetes does. In fact I think in some cases vision gets better, it probably depends on what was wrong in the first place and it takes *time*. In any case, he'll just need to go to the eye doctor and update his glasses, easy. Dunno why he thinks anybody will be confused about the accommodations for blurry eyesight.

Although... Kind kiwi farmers, I have lost my glasses and my eyesight is blurry without them! Please give me about 3000 for a ps5! It'll help! No need to ask where the rest of the money is going, I promise to buy some lettuce too.

I don't know why I almost expected a life-threatening, world-changing experience for Louis would convince him to stop being an antagonizing numbnut online for at least a week.

He really thinks he's clever when he says he wouldn't mind a woman being attacked but denies he feels this way because he only blatantly implied it. It all comes right back to when he deleted an archived tweet he made and pretended it didn't exist even though there was irrefutable evidence it did, acting smug when he was caught in three separate lies in a single instance. Because he has the slightest, minuscule amount of plausible deniability, even when anybody with half a brain would conclude otherwise, he thinks he has a one-up on whatever random person he's decided to argue with for literally no reason.

It's moments like this where I genuinely can't believe his orbiters actually like him. They clearly follow everything he says, because they line up to worship the ground he waddles on whenever he suicide baits. What's their reasoning for willfully ignoring how he regularly utters the most detestable possible things in conversations with strangers on a regular basis? Do they believe he's in the right? Do they see this behavior as acceptable? Even in a twisted nightmare-world where Louis is right when he argues with people, there wouldn't be a single person alive who would agree with how he presents his points, assuming he isn't just insulting individuals for zero reason.

Diabetes can apparently cause sight loss via something called Diabetic Retinopathy, which happens when long term high blood sugar damages your retina.

It won't happen overnight of course, but Lou has been undiagnosed for ages so it could have already started to set in, hence the doctors warning him if he doesn't wise up he could go blind :story:

Either his orbiters agree with his slapfights or they ignore it because they think it's more important to be there for their "disabled trans being abused by dead mom" friend. Like some kind of martyr complex where "he doesn't have anybody else! I HAVE to be there for him!" It kind of seems like the latter, his whole sphere is full of other furries who identify similarly to him.

Also I checked with Dr. WebMD and apparently insomnia is related to diabetes. Lou's probably so desensitized to it as a diagnosis from his stepdad also being Type 2 that he has no clue what horrors await him when he keeps letting it go untreated. Shit's horrific.

I don't exactly blame him for not yet taking it seriously- there is a difference between knowing a thing and knowing it. You might rationally know there's nothing in the basement but you still feel that thrill when you look into the darkness. He knows he has diabetes and he knows it's bad, but he doesn't feel the danger he's in yet. He doesn't truly believe he can die yet. So, he got out of the hospital and immediately ate spaghettios because he has not yet accepted the reality of his situation. It's just no big deal yet.

Then they're willfully ignoring (or tacitly condoning) the fact that Lou is simply cruel. He is a cruel person. Look, I get the appeal of popping off at people being idiot assholes on Twitter, and he does plenty of that, but he also goes out of his way to find people to spit meanness at, people who have committed no offense other than politely stating a point of view with which he disagrees. Like popping up out of nowhere to say, in a conversation he wasn't a part of, that he wouldn't shed a tear if JK Rowling were physically assaulted and rendered penniless. What did that woman ever do to him, other than write an essay that was so eloquent and powerful that it got her nominated for the Russell Prize? Imagine finding out Lord Beetus is pounding on your door, only to put a chair on it to keep him out while you join in on senseless Twitter spats for validation. Eventually he's going to get in Lou, and when he does he's not going to want just your foot.

I remember once hearing a saying along the lines of "only the truly laziest of people will be angry, because they can't formulate a better response." Lou is the epitome of that. So lazy he's obese, so lazy he rather try and eat less of the same food instead of something healthier like a salad. So lazy he'd rather start stupid little spats over problems that aren't his while his body is ROTTING.

This is horrible, but there's layers to this which make it substantially worse than Louis simply mocking somebody being suicidal. Louis has cried because people didn't take his suicidal threats seriously, so he's well-aware (or at least claims to be) how it feels to not take this sort of thing seriously, and here he's going out of his way to laugh at somebody he doesn't even know. So he's not only being awful for no reason again, he's being hypocritical as he does it.
