I was going to point this out. His role at the tranch could be to do the online selling, and he would actually be contributing. Instead he ebegs and spends it on toys. It is wild that he is still able to live there when spending so much money on crap and doing nothing for the place but draining resources. He either supplied a decent amount of money at the beginning or he has dirt on one or more of them that they are afraid he will share.

I'm going with Kevin having dirt on one or more of them. Every photo I've seen posted of the geodesic troon thunderdome looks like a superfund site. Shit, the whole tract of land could qualify as its own TIF district if it was in my city. You'd think he could push a vacuum around a little, groom the indoor animals, clean litterboxes or feed (I bet he doesn't even crack open a bag of Purina). He could be dusting, doing laundry, making/turning beds...you know--all the things that would validate his troo womanhood. But no. Transformers is the REAL key to unlocking womanhood. Last I checked, Gen 4 was known for being the worst. It didn't add anything, the overworld was empty, every single action took way too long, the game was grindy towards the end, and the biggest improvement was just changing how the battle system worked. The most you could give it credit for is having an incredibly rudimentary online function. I'm aware Pokemon is the franchise for "more of the same" and while I haven't so much as looked at the franchise in a while, having seen the trailer for the remakes, so far there is zero evidence to suggest the game has anything going for it.

And I'm not saying this to be dismissive or contrarian, I genuinely mean there is nothing compelling in that trailer which would suggest the flaws of the original are fixed. So far it just looks like a graphical upgrade. But it's the same thing as when Kevin was talking about buying the Skyward Sword remake. There is nothing compelling him to buy either beyond brand recognition, and he almost certainly will buy it full-price on release. Only difference is Pokemon is turning into a huge money sink considering their overpriced DLC, and I just know Kevin is going to buy both versions of the game for no reason.

I can't say I'm the arbiter of how the topic should proceed in the thread, I just ask it's related to Kevin somehow. As with the tranch, unless it's a particularly interesting discussion on it, I'm mostly indifferent to it, but discussion is always good even if it doesn't appeal to everyone.
