Out of morbid curiosity I've been reading some takes from smaller newspapers that appear to be more neutral and don't say head-spinning things like "city wide destruction from the mostly peaceful protests".

Minneapolis businesses rush to install security shutters following rule change
City leaders urge business owners in Minneapolis to prepare ahead of upcoming trial
Minneapolis increases security ahead of the Derek Chauvin trial
In Minneapolis, an immigrant street struggles to recover

I don't understand why any business would choose to remain in Minneapolis at this point. They sound genuinely scared.
As if they have any real choice to stay there. Now's not the best time for moving and all the lost product, money and business finished off any chance. You can't just say move. Altho I wish they could for their safety.

Whatever the result nigs will nog anyway.

Derek didn't do anything wrong, everything was according to procedure.

Does anyone else find it why Fentanyl Floyd was arrested? Attempted forgery, previous history of drug possession among other instances.

Floyd was a dead man walking with Corona destroying his lungs in any case.

I don't know how anyone could watch this trial and not realize that they've been essentially lied to for the past several months. Even I didn't really know how many drugs Floyd had in his system, and I like to think of myself as a well informed person. The average person should be infuriated watching this knowing that the media lied about the nature of his death (death via strangulation opposed to cardiac unrest) and that the Floyd family essentially fabricated an autopsy to say he was strangled to death. I went to small religious institution, and after Floyd's death, the president of my university sent out a newsletter where he said "In his last moment's, Floyd cried out for his mother. This should remind us of Jesus calling out for his father, and the role that the Virgin Mary played in the final moments of his crucifixion". Literally making Floyd out to be a Christ figure. Now we know that crying out for his mom and saying he couldn't breathe was standard operating procedure for Floyd. George Floyd knew exactly what he was doing. He didn't think he was going to die, he just said what he always said when he panics. Yet America was sold that he was essentially some saint, and that it was the evil white man who killed him, not him OD'ing on drugs.

As an aside. Floyd was 6'6" and 250lbs. Chauvin is 5'9" and 160lbs. This, since the beginning, should never have been framed as a racial issue. Just manlets finally learning what happens when you kill a Chad.

Can someone that lives in Minneapolis explain to me how the demographic shift happened so fast? I've never been but in my head 15 years ago MPLS was like 90% white. It's under 60% now. The population growth from 2010-2019 is huge for a Midwest/Great Lakes city.

I could see Blacks moving from the South to places like Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago because of the existing populations there, but Minneapolis? I'm really struggling to figure out what got people to move there.

From the instant she took the stand I knew she was going to be trouble.

>Please raise your right hand
<Raises left hand, wouldn't put her fucking big-ass bag down she was carrying
>Sit's down to get questioned
<Elbows with her head on her hand, within a few seconds says she doesn't like this
It's like these fuckers never heard of proper court etiquette
Welcome to the culture, etiquette doesn't matter. Just like the fact that George Floyd died from and OD doesn't matter.

large scale influx of somali rapefugees

Personal prediction: whatever happens you won't see any big protests. BLM/blacks have done their job and are no longer useful. Elections are over, wait for the 2024 season.
BLM is pretty much a rabid dog out of control though, the only difference is that joe will make sure they too can get the floyd experience with not being able to breathe

Obama saw that there was big blocks of voting whites and so he dumped a ton of ungrateful low IQ 'refugees' in those zones. That's how we got Omar and the other ISIS congresscreeps.

Same reason Joemala is flying a bunch of 'migrants' to those Northern states.

From what I heard, but never confirmed. Obama.

Basically took all the Somali refugees and put them in MN to culturally enrich the place. At least that's how I heard it.
