Prosecutors really love picking the worst witnesses possible. I don't really care how the verdict goes but seeing a smug prosecutor get stomped on makes me smile.
That sounds familiar, I think someone around here once said the same thing about progressives and which cases they get outraged at in general. Sure there are countless legitimate cases they could use to make a strong argument, but if they choose to double down on shitty cases like Jussie Smollet then they're proving just how deeply they are in line with the party ideology.

I'd like believe you're not observing a similar phenomena, but :optimistic: it's $CURRENT_YEAR+7

I don't think that's a blood choke. Granted, I've never been too into chokes, but I don't think there's a major topical artery where Chauvin has his leg in that picture. He's talking about side chokes, but those arteries run along the the front of the neck, and close to the ears, not along the back of the neck. I'm not saying that that couldn't be a blood choke, but I want an actual expert to testify that's a blood choke, not someone who was on the scene who has an immediate, emotional connection to the event in question.

This is the artery that blood chokes target. The knee is further back along the muscles. If you're being blood choked, you're going to be knocked out within seconds.

Why are they presenting some random person who happened to be on the scene as an expert?
They probably can’t find a legitimate expert to testify in their favor so they’re relying on riot boy
