I’m going to play black guy’s advocate here and suggest that the law will find the smallest reason to prosecute someone (or even make one up) if it’s someone they WANT to prosecute. Try applying your logic to CCP dissidents and see if your opinion changes.

To follow up on this, what they are missing is that the defense is trying to demonstrate that there was a hostile crowd that prevented the cops from taking time to render aid because they had to control the crowd and might have been attacked if they put their guard down. But the Redditors are saying, "Of course he was angry! Who wouldn't be!" Which is the defense's whole point, that the crowd was getting increasingly angry, which ironically made the police less able to take the time to try anything different with Floyd. But these dimwits just get angry because "The defense attorney is trying to paint the witness as an 'angry black man who can't be trusted!" Not at all the point.

I expect the defense to bring in actual, qualified experts to explain the police procedures Chauvin was trained and expected to use. People that have actual degrees and expertise in their fields.
