He was also warned a year earlier. He knew this was fucking with his heart.
Unfortunately this sort of behavior is extremely common among dumb people. Just watch any of those fatty reality shows. Hell, I've worked with people who nearly killed themselves due to diabetes mismanagement because they're just too stupid to care. You can tell these people there's a 90% chance they will be dead in 5 years and they won't change a damn thing. It's the same with drugs as it is with overeating.

If that photo leaks this Judge will have no choice but to declare a mistrial due to identity's of the jurors being out there. I wonder if that is the plan all along get the trial suspended and the Burn, Loot and Murder folk will destroy the entire town.
There is no plan here, the golem here long ago broke its chains. It's a bunch of independent actors all vying to see the answer to the question "Who can make it worse?".

At least this hearing is producing some quality Reddit content for once.

I thought she said she was on another floor by the elevator banks taking a pic of the DA and Floyd's mom?

He won't fine her, he'd have her arrested if it leaks. This is actual felony territory and is about the only area I have seen judges get absolutely livid.
What are the chances that she's able to just say it wasn't me? How in depth will they investigate that sort of thing?

Fairly basic really, find the source images and track the source. Unless she has the intelligence to cover her tracks it... will just have to find her IP.

The judge doesn't rule anything, that is the job of the Jury.
He rules lots of things. What witnesses are allowed even to testify. What they're allowed to testify about. What lines of questioning are allowed. When they end. Whether the case is dismissed outright. Whether the defendant gets acquitted notwithstanding the verdict. Every single aspect of the testimony and evidence presented to the jury is within the control of the judge, who can even acquit the defendant at the end of the trial without the jury getting to do a single thing, or even acquit the defendant after the jury convicts.

Virtually impossible. The courtroom is monitored well beyond what any of us can see. It would be very easy to match the time the photo was taken, the angle of the photographer and where the woman in question was at that exact moment. You also aren't allowed to have cell phones in the courtroom anyway to my understanding.
